I to have lost the ability to OC, If I go beyond 60 mhz above stock, the game will crash as soon as the level loads. My 2080ti is a hybrid which never go's over 62 degrees. Doesnt matter , I used to get 150+ oc and it ran great

Doing a "dirty" install of 436.15 over 436.02 makes my Nvidia control panel work. The problem seems to only appear on a clean (DDU) install.

AMD already released the GRD for Gears 5, so NV driver is coming tomorrow.

I can confirm this as well, I just installed w10 again, new 3600, giga x570 auros master, 16gb tridentZ, 1 tb hp ex950, evga 2080ti XC utlra. Tried w10 1903 and fast ring insiders.

    436.15 and new 440 branch

    431.70

islc and msi tool- butter smooth except for the occasional spike opening some doors.

Something is definitely not right with the new branches on my 2080ti this is with no OC on anything and fresh installs with exploit disabled. Blair witch stutters like crazy no matter the version or tools used. Its a shame because the ultra latency is great for destiny 2 and everything else I have.

DirectX 12 is not affected by the latency stuff, so its got nothing to do with that.

Control is currently the only game im playing dx12 and that game doesnt really need low latency. But If I want to play control and use ultra low and play my dx11 games I cannot use the 436 or 440 branch its just a mess with frame spikes. There is a lot of other users on overclock.net with the same issue so I know its not just me.

You may want to leave feedback with Microsoft:

And they won't do anything. We have to use standby memory cleaners(ISLC etc) since Creator's Update(1703) and they haven't fixed it yet.

To work on this, the windows team needs users to profile and submit feedback with the feedback hub.
Problem is the time it takes for it to begin being an issue can differ depending on how much memory is present in the system which means their feedback hub profile tool often doesn't take enough data.

Anyone have constant crashes in Shadow of the Tomb Raider with those drivers in DX12 with Ray Tracing enabled? All other games run 100% stable tho..

Gears 5 is the king of visuals for now. Way better than Control and its blurry mess. Let's see if the upcoming GRD improves the performance.

I'm curious. What's the reason that MSI Mode is enabled for Nvidia's Mobile GPUs by default when you install GeForce drivers, but not Desktop GPUs (they are set to use the old IRQ mode by default)? Is Microsoft to blame for that as well?

Nvidia is still providing backwards compatibility to pcie 1.1 and 2.0 motherboards that do not support MSI well, if at all.
