I was going to try the new 418.91s, but see that they force you to install Geforce Experience and another option. WTF is up with that? I`ll wait for the Clean versions.

I am not. So far it seems to be when I have word and PDF out. Not sure it is even Firefox really. It could be the other two. Will keep paying attention.

Odd. Usually, issues such as this are caused by some form of "hardware acceleration".

Let us know if you will find the culprit.

Apparently, that's the case right now.

Nvidia is unable to reproduce the issue on Win 10 - Quote from @Sora on NV forums

I turned hardware acceleration off now. But have not had word or PDF out recently. No idea if it will continue.

Have not found a culprit. Firefox alone will do this to my system now. Getting 2-3 second blackouts randomly quite a bit. Never had this before. With it just doing this on a desktop with nothing running means its a driver issues probably.

Well if you cannot install the official driver, that means issue is on your side.

Are you downloading GTX version and Desktop version?
Have you deleted the previous driver with DDU prior to installation?

Rolling back to the 416.94s. I am not seeing any DLSS setting in Metro Exodus. On a good note, DSR seems to be working again. And Gsync on my Freesync compatible monitor.

    Did you download RTX version?

My guess is you have a new Windows install so download DDU, uninstall your current version in Safe Mode and make sure you check the box to prevent Windows to install drivers upon restart. When you do a normal restart you should be able to install the clean drivers.

Anyone else has the same issues with RTX driver as @Shataan ?

    Update:
Just manually installed Win 10 x64 Desktop RTX driver, all works here. No corrupt file warnings.

Which link have you used to download? mega or google drive?

@cryohellinc If I would go to the Geforce driver page and download a driver for the 1080Ti and then a driver for the 2080Ti would I download one GTX version and one RTX version? (sorry if the question is obvious) What is the difference between those two?

Got from Google 1st. I then reinstalled and all went good. Maybe the complete package didn`t d/l correctly the 1st time.? Got DLSS this time round. But DLSS won`t stay checked. I have a feeling it doesn`t work with 2560X1080p monitors. …. even when I bump DSR up to the res DLSS requires. Not sure if I like the 419.17s vis qualitywise or performancewise compared to my old stand bys….. the 416.94s. Went back to the 416.94s for now.
