Discontinued (check OP link for future drivers) - Clean Version

It will be released later on Today. Yesterday had no time at all.

 

And I was so excited to try them out that I had to install the dirty version yesterday I feel filthy ;D

 

Well, there is a guide in the OP on how you can do it yourself. The whole process is really simple.

In any case, later on, today expect a clean version.

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly are these "clean" drivers?

Taken from literally the first post:

Everything removed except:

• Core Driver files
• PhysX
• HD Audio
• Key RTX features (RTX drivers only)

 

That plus they are smaller in size so people like me that have slow crappy internet can get them a bit faster.

 

Latest hotfix driver will be up today. Apologies for the delay, but irl happens.

Question: Now that GTX card support RTX features, I would like to ask how you guys wish to see new driver releases from now on:

a) Merge GTX/RTX drivers onto one as it will work both for GTX series and RTX.
b) Do the Above + provide a Bare Bones version of the driver without any RTX features at all.

Please let me know.

Well clearly neither him, nor myself are the only people that are doing something like this.

 

Of course, just wanted to let you know so you could save time/bandwidth.

 

i think that now support, you can include rtx component in the gtx package.

P.S.
- Now that both RTX and GTX cards support RTX features naming will be the following: BareBones version - previous GTX style, where only driver / PhysX / HDaudio components are included. Meanwhile, RTX version will include - same as BareBones + all core RTX components for it to function properly.

- Previous WHQL / Hotfix drivers moved into Archive.
