Is it understood why so and whether it is ever gonna be fixed or it's hard coded in the driver and can never be fixed?

 

Hi, the AMD Noise Suppresion function doesnt work on my rx 580, how can I fix it? I reinstalled the drivers for 3 times already, same problem.

 

noise suppression is in beta state for nimez, so it can be work or not, even some navi 1st gen users still can't get it worked

 

kernel things can't be fixed by the author, only amd can do that because they own the whql keys. You need original whql keys if you want to modify kernel-related things in driver, because if you modify them : whql is broken as well, need to be generated by new whql layer

 

Using the Nemezis Terascale driver gives me a RSOD in GTA V, temps are fine, having 60 fps but randomly just gets a bzzz sound and rsod, trying with the older drivers now.

 

On V5 drivers, keep getting artifacts, any fix?

Guys, I enabled Accelerated HW Shed on latest Win 11 Dev 25182, I made a reboot now. My system still works fine, is there any way to see if its actually enabled or not? And does it even do anything on an RX 480? And what does the Legacy HW Shed options do?

 

Finally AMD fixed VCE in 22.8.2, so im gonna back to Amernime Zone Drivers with next release

mylipho15 tried it, but it seems it's been blocked by AMD. When running latest drivers as-is on SD, the driver just refuses to start (code 41). Swapping few dlls from Valve's drivers around gets the driver to start, but it bluescreens within two minutes after booting (and lags horribly before). Quite often the crash does not even occur in GPU driver, so something extremely fishy seems to be going on. I tried the beta driver created with a few more recent driver releases, but it seems to not have changed (code 41).

Also, interestingly - with first version of SD APU drivers, it was possible to install Catalyst control center. This has been disabled in the newer drivers from Valve as well :-(
