Nice scores and nice scaling! I'm obviously talking about when both companies cover all market segments. Until Vega is out, NVIDIA will charge whatever they want for the 1080. I don't believe that's the case for the 1060 any more though.

My best run so far, Pascal seems clearly unreachable for Maxwell on DX12.
1070 are a clear step ahead compared to 980-Ti.

I don't think i can do much more than this with my 980-Ti. Not sure there's even a point trying to anyway :p...

GTX1060 would need to at least sit between GTX980 and 390x to look interesting if this benchmark is what's going to be used moving forward.

Talking about charging what "they" want, I just noticed ocuk price for i7 6700k has jumped up by £60! From £270 to £330!!! Ridiculous prices here in UK now.

Here is just my powercolor R9 290 Turboduo clocked at 1050 core and 1350 memory.

The first one is with Async off:
http://www.3dmark.com/spy/18437 It gives an error since to run it with async off is a custom run.

    With Async on:
    http://www.3dmark.com/spy/16578

Everything else remained the same including back ground programs and services.

/edit hmm i just noticed that it is reporting my max turbo clock at 4297 on the async off run.

Yeah, I was pretty much getting 100% scaling if you scroll up.
I actually didn't think the scaling was that great at first as i was looking at the overall score, but then looked at the graphics score and fps results when I was posting the images.

Wish Quantum Break supported MGPU lol.

If this was the norm in DX12 games then it would certainly make something like 2x480 or 1060 a tempting buy.

Anyone got any CF 480 results that can be compared to a 1080?

If the developers are neutral then you will see results like these mostly unless you are comparing broken AMD evolve DX12 games.

As Heisenberg says:"You're God damn right". :)

Interesting synthetic benchmark, still wait for a revision.Do not forget the real game results matter.

"The GeForce GTX 1080 sees a 6.84% jump in performance with asynchronous compute enabled versus having it turned off. The gap for the GTX 1070 is 5.42%. The scaling is less than we saw on both Fiji and Polaris from AMD, which again indicates that AMD has engineered GCN around asynchronous compute more than NVIDIA has with Pascal."

Still taking tiny percentage increases though, and a game that still has no benchmark so everyone makes up their own testing.

I have noticed that the newer the Nvidia card, the higher the increase, while the RX480 does not seem to benefit as much as older AMD hardware.

I'm gonna try some explicit DX12 mGPU now, and report back :nerd:
