    hello all

System hangs after about 1-3 minutes of use. It just freezes without powering off. Sometimes audio continiues playing,
sometimes it doesn't. I've tried to play (NFS 2, NFS 3, Quake 2, Quake 3, Half-Life), Using Windows's safe mode doesn't alter the situation.

    Curiously enough, all 3D games without 3DFx and 3DMark 99 & 2000 work just fine !!!
(Revenant, Might & Magic 6-7 in Direct 3D!, all NFS in sowtware mode, and of course the DOS games work fine)

I reinstalled Windows several times original Win98 and Win98IF

    My config:
CPU: Pentium II 233 MMX (Slot 1) Klamath
    Mainboard: Rhino2LX Intel 440LXEX 2A69JO09
    Sound: Creative AWE64
    Video: 3DFX Voodoo 3 3000 AGP 16MB
    (many drivers Official/Omega/AmigaMerlin and more)
    Power: 300W
    System: Win98IF

    My BIOS settings:
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    [IMG][IMG] [IMG]

    add PnP OS Installed "YES"
    add AGP Aperture Size "64"

    my VIDEO:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eikk5h6GZg&feature=youtu.be
Later I made the video with all my freeze games + i later test Unreal, Carmaggedon...

What's the problem may be? Broken Voodoo3, mainboard or AGP Slot?

    ps.
After two or three weeks, I'll try install VooDoo 3 2000 AGP.

    Thanks.

Very strange, so the system doesn't hang in safe mode or D3d/OpenGL games, just glide?

or MSI 694T Pro VIA mainboard, VooDoo work fine,
in safe mode and D3d/OpenGL/3Dfx games.

VooDoo or Intel 440LXEX mainboard, safe mode and all 3DFx games FREEZE,
but all Direct 3D games work fine.

    that's just bizzare.

im going to put it down to either the motherboard or PSU, as you have tried the voodoo in a different system.
