    A truer statement has not been made in a long time.

    Acording to them the 680 is going to become the $300 card,that would be great cus that is all you would need.

    10% over previous high end, and for $300, is not far fetched.
    • GTX 580 -> GTX 660 Ti
    And not too cheap either.
    • GTX 285 -> GTX 460($229)

    It might just be what's needed in gloomy PC/gaming industry.

    I would def buy 2 680 at 300 each, might go for the 780 instead and sli that later on

    If this is true i'll buy it.
    More interesting is the price. Well if AMD won't do anything decent we will get another prices like Intel in CPU market.

    I'll wait until nVidia confirms this.... They work to bring down power consumption, just to increase power consumption in the "refresh" cards? Doesn't make much sense to me...

    If that google translate works well, if I got it right next GTX780 should be 55% faster then GTX680?

    If so, for how long do you think I will be able to play with my card on max settings?

    The GTX 780 better be only 2%-5% faster than the 680 and be $100-$150 more than the 680 or I quit pc gaming lol.

    If it's really based on GK100/110....It will be more than 2-5% faster. Probably closer to 20-30% faster....but power consumption will be higher as well.

    I would say more if its armed with full 15SMX, as you know full GK104 has only 8SMX. So theoretically GK110 should be at least +80% faster. Also lol at true high end, no sheit nvidia, nice milking with GK104 - overpriced mid-range bullus ****us, good thing I passed :grin:

    780GTX looks like a worthy upgrade from GF110 Fermi., hope they dont castrate it much and keep both HyperQ, Dynamic parallelism and full 14-15SMX :)

    Edit: i think it will have full 15SMX

    6 Raster-Engines, 2880 (1D) Shader-Einheiten, 160 TMUs, 48 ROPs, 384 Bit Speicherinterface

    2 more Raster engines...32 more TMUs....16 more ROPs... 50% is possible (I still doubt it though) but we'll see come launch time....It'll likely be one power hungry card....
