No it isn't possible to get 3000 unless you get another CPU. Those CPU tests are gnarly. I get the same score and my CPU gets 999. No 3000 for me either

 

Perhraps trying OC more all, you can increase alittle bit your score... But really the Barton is a very old CpU now.. i m sure you will find only advantage to change it...and not only for bench..

 

It is now my goal to try and beat phrozin.

ati tool to o/c it but that’s it just driver default atm still not 100% sure what makes these cards tick yet, they run very warm though so i will haft to work on that, ) 06 only have run 2 runs atm far from maxed out yet only got the card last night but its a bugger there is nothing that works with the x1900 probably a week or so till the software catches up. I recon it will go 14k in 05 and 7k 06 with out too much hassle.

All in all I am very happy with the card and really glad i am back on a ati like putting on a old pair of shoes it just feels right not saying 7800's are bad its just I just like ati better


Over clocks are 740/1700 but that is soft I am only feeling out the card atm she will go higher

 

What core voltage did you reach 70 at? It took me 1.5 on the vgpu to reach 740.

 

huh?? what voltage have you vmoded your card all ready got a link? mine not vmoded yet jeppers only got last night i am not that fast wish i was give me at least a week lol

I think you can use the ATI tool for mod the voltage, the 25.13b is normally dedicated for the ATIx1900XT with the 4 voltages switch.. But i don't know if it's really work properly.. the catalyst 6.2 seems have fix many problem for last card ( for my XT1800XT too..) but i imagine they have alot of work to do for give full performance with the 1900 series..


Reading your last post: I think it don't talk about physical Vmod... the ATI can be Voltmodded by software, directly..

use the ATI tool for that..

I used ATI-Tool to get 1.5 on the vgpu. Are you saying you got 740 on stock voltage? Using what program?

lane found the voltage stuff pretty cool but heats the card too much what are you running on the voltage to the memory only .1 of a volt to the core which is nothing?

Blimey phrozin, that 05 score is awesome for a single card. Thats almost faster than my 2 GTX 512's. U recon its got anymore in them?

My PSU craps out at about 740 on the core. I realised this because when I up the voltage, even going to 741 it locks up. I gotta get a new PSU.
