Cus its legal at hwbot to turn it off is the main reason so i always test my amd cards like that,.running nv cards i was jelly.:)
Driver side optimazations are accepted practises in the fm/bench community if i could turn it off in nvcp i would.
I wont test with tes if i dont have to....dont be mad.
I do all my real game tests the other way around with settings as far high as i can set them.

On aonther note sniperOZ one of the ace TEAMAU members just crapped on the d311 record .....he is #1 for now but these drivers have everyone rebenching :nerd:

    http://hwbot.org/submission/2323424_sniperoz_3dmark11___performance_radeon_hd_7970_17822_marks

Wait till we get cards going 1720-1760 on a 3960k @5.5 we may see 20k!!!!

I appreciate your reasoning, but in reality disabling Tessellation in a benchmark that is scored by the use of such isn't an optimization it's a hack. Calling a spade a spade here. If it didn't affect image quality then it would be considered an optimization.

Hack = "A clever routine in a computer program, especially one which uses tools for purposes other than those for which they were intended."

No if i was to turn off tes on an nv card
    it would be a hack.
With amd its right in the cp no other program
I do agree that it should not even give you a score if you have tes set any other way but it does.
When it comes to IQ why bother setting to highest for a benchmark as this?
i set to high performance even on nv cards
i'm still pissed that this is legal and for 3dvantage no gppu physics for nv

Ok before i even c/p my ss
I go 11.5k gpu score at the same clocks with tes

    1250/1800 3630k 4.7 quad low volt sammy's @2150
    [IMG]

this just using gPU tweak i did hotwire too but just to see if it worked for voltage but still stock out of the box cooling atm
my rive is messed up anyway so i dont like to be on it very long with
sound port not working and no working either net port
but some how i got Duel and Quad channel back.:)

I see you have receive the Asus ... no problem on Voltage control for OC ? ( check it is really applied, as Ghz edition got an high voltage, im not sure if it was cause i have use 2 different software, but i have got 1 time the voltage who was stay at default and ofc at 1250mhz it is stable ) ( hence why the high voltage on the Ghz by default, its for allow a good OC range with default vddc )

    yeah real stock read 2d .90 3d 1.24v says 1.26 in software.
    GPU tweak seems to work.
I had a quick test with hotwire 1.36(was what software was doing set at 1.40v) did not help with getting higher clocks. never hitting over 67C now, would you think water would help?did you see a differance in clocks afterwards?
i have not much time with 7970 card so i dont know if it needs to have unlock bios of some sort.
I know you lane have much red card expierance

    as above
yup matrix goes as fast as my ref card did at higher voltage lol
    Alot cooler thou

I hate to get all offtopic up in here i will bump 7970 thread for more questions :wanker:

Normally H2o should help with more voltage.. i see your cards allready goes higher of mine with air cooling ( difference is the DCUII cooler is really better of the standard one )
Well on both of my cards H2o have permit go higher, with 1350+mv i can use 1330+ mhz ( CFX ) .. something i will never hit with the standard air cooler, even with the worst overclocker of both cards, it have increase his limit ( this one can follow the HIS, even if it limit my higher oc in cfx )

Temp have an impact with the PTE ( TDP prediction including temperature ), and then it allow higher voltage stability.

We can never be sure as like allways, some cards ( High quality Asic offtly ), just hit a wall.

But looking your result, and seeing most goes at 1300mhz + ...

Try use gpu-z for a test Asic, I have not seen enough Matrix running results for really do any prediction with it.

The rating is 60.4% but my ref was 85% that went slower by 10mgz and thats when i had a piece of dice right on the ref card 44c loaded.
I just want alittle more clocks 1350 -30c with 1.40v or so.(need to wait for spacer for pot.
Right now I keep only getting score with my cpu's i need alot more gpu score.

still a very respectable score, probably right there or perhaps higher than GTX670 SLi scores
