Wanny i have only got the free basic version?
Can i get the info from that?
    regards

Ok i think i know why, The olny driver that works for 480's in sli are the 265.90s
the 260.99 do not work for 480's.

No, I tested it and got no real increase in performance. If anything, my performance levels went down a little.

Though it does bring up a question. When Vantage first came out, nVidia cards also had no edge in the physics until they released a driver version allowing the physics to go through the GPU, which led to an outcry of foul play. Is it possible for them to do it again?

Compare the details of our scores though. My higher GPU OC led to a higher graphics score, whereas you beat me in the physics department due to your higher CPU speed.

Do what? This benchmark is supposed to have a GPU physics part.

Sorry, I was testing and reinstalling. Well, for me no improvement with this CAP4.
I hoped so much for these 15K :)nerd:) .. but still negative scaling ..:finger:

    see here

Maybe there is hope with this HUUGE upcoming driver set ?

    .. who knows ..

Yeah, that CAP only seemed to improve performance for gpu physics at the cost of graphics but still resulted in a lower score. I don't know what else to say about that problem you are having as you should have a score better than mine.

I really do hope that a new driver will improve things but I doubt that it will be 10.12's. Though, a hotfix driver might come out to deal with this benchmark.

Quick question, what score does vantage give you? I get on average ~37000 gpu score. I just want to make sure that it's only this bench that's having problems.

PhysX ( used in Vantage ) is a library bought by Nvidia to Ageia and only the proprietary of Nvidia ( you need an Nvidia card for make it work, without it you can't make it run on another gpu, Nvidia have no advantage on Physic calculation, just you can't make it run with ATI/AMD cards cause it only work with Nvidia cards )..

    3Dmark11 use 2 library:
    - The first is the one from Microsoft you find in DX11 . ( Using Directcompute 5 and can be run by the CPU or the GPU ( whatever is the brand of the GPU )

    - The second library, is the free OpenCL library for physics called " Bullet " same as Havoc and PhysX, but it's not proprietary to a Hardware label, it's an Opensource library in OpenCL and can be run with all OS, hardwares, by the CPU or GPU .

I really have no idea, man!

In Vantage my highest are P41378 (no PhysX) and P52634 (incl. PhysX)

.. so it should not be about that ..

    now for the records:

    X-Score: X3253

    P-Score: P8763

of course with CFX OFF :)

SLI scaling doesn't look too good.

So it seems that the last combined physics test is the main problem. Don't know if its the drivers or an SLI problem. 10fps was all i got for last test.
