damn vantage really tests the gpu on its own. EVen with an i7 and triple channel my gpu score is higher than yours.

Turn off PhysX to get a more accurate CPU score.

I've only got this i7 on stock air atm waiting for my d-tek fuzion pro mount to arrive.

Have cpu under volted atm though at a reasonable speed so thought I'd post up a bench seeing I haven't done one in a while.

    P20333 - Frenchlick - GTX 295 (SA) 653/1408/1091 - i7 920 (SA) 3465 MHz - GA - EX58 - UD4P - 3x2gb GSkill PI @DDR3-660Mhz 8-8-8-21 1T

My latest score with PhysX disabled and with stock frequencies for all components including default/auto M.I.T BIOS settings:

    9630 3DMarks

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=936366

The score with the exact same settings but with PhysX enabled is 14209 3DMarks, which has a CPU score of 33933. I wish the CPU could be that powerful by itself. In comparison an over-clocked Core i7 965 at 4Ghz will roughly get around 31000 (with PhysX disabled).

In other words, PhysX kicks some major whoop ass when the developers know how to make it used properly. Man I wish games would use that as well as Vantage does (see «as well as», but not «as much as», because I wouldn't want my games to run at 5FPS due to too much CPU utilization, if the guys making the 3D Mark benchmarks can make a game by themselves then imagine the possibilities).

I will have to test my system with some over-clock thrown in, I'll try with the CPU at 3.8Ghz and the GPU's Core at 700Mhz or maybe a little more. I'll update with the OC'ed scores another time though (need to make sure the OC is stable first, I don't like OC'ing and being able to benchmark without a crash but getting only that constantly in actual games).

New w3520 running at what my old 920 did, but ht enabled and only 1.36. Ram is way loose and just starting to tweak this update. More to follow.

guys i just tested my NVIDIA 285....

with my previous ATI 4870 it was:

    3DMARK SCORE: 6786
    CPU SCORE: 6131
    GRAPHICS SCORE: 7036

    NOW with NVIDIA 285

    3DMARK SCORE: P14015
CPU SCORE: 33067 (YEAH 33067, I hink there is a mistake?)
    graphic score 11757

so what u think? good jump? iam not benching my system since 2005-06 so not sure if this is good jump from 4870.

You need to disabled the PPU support in Vantage - that's why your CPU score is so high.
