ha ha yeah i hear you i bench the ud7 too...crasy reboots
both my boards acted the same way.
here is my result...
im just gone throw this in here for a lough now tell me 2006 is not nearly entirely cpu depended...
gx2 with modded coolers
flipped the card inside out so now its core sides outwards, two as1's 1 bent straight up,sorta like i did for my 7950gx2(same coolers)
since no ab support on gx2 i used riva with vt 1165 plugin for easy volt adding and temp monitoring.
really happy with results(cooling wise) should have done this to the card yrs ago BIG differance in temps(-30c differance @ load over the stock cooler.
67f room temp cpu dice cooling
Not bad for w7 and a so so 2600k
not bad at all!
GTX 590 @ 772/4000, intel I7 @ 4.063ghz, evga x58 micro:

At default settings, I think my cpu speed is bottlenecking the score a bit, I notice people score is much higher then mine. Might overclock it a bit.
Ok cpu a lil but overclocked(stable), along with gtx 590 speeds now @ 790/4000:

Wow can we keep the screenshots to a reasonable size?
Anyway here is my humble first submission.
Minor points compared to some, my little ol' CPU tried very hard but is still no match for all the I7's in this thread..... ....
you could oc that card a tad more and probably squeeze a few more points but overall, thats not a bad score for what you have.
Thanks, I just noticed my SM 2.0 and 3.0 scores are almost the same as someone a few posts up who has a 6950 w/ unlocked shaders.
Interesting to see the difference between more shaders & higher clocks ..
I can't unlock mine sadly. I feel like I have the only locked 6950 in existence lol.
Here it is again, This time the I7 @ 4.3ghz, Asus Gtx 590 @ 835mhz(both gpu's)/4650mhz(Effective gddr5 speed rate) @ voltage of 1.088 on water:
Mate can you stop posting such large screenshots.
I'm sure you know the maximum size for images posted on the forum is 1280x1024.
Small world Ed
last night as a read your post i was putting a dice pot on a evga 98gt i got from a forum member
Those drivers suck use 197.45 for 06
CB under -30c only 800 on the core but its a "green" model so only 1.169v.3d
i'll see what i can do with it more later
Ok cowie, drivers are defo key to points. I tried 182.50s and these 270.61s.
I put 1.17~1.19 to 2d clocks and ran 3d @ 1.22~1.24vc memory would'nt
budge past 1025 without artifacts. M03 and M01 would freeze anything over
-30c but M06 can work colder:bang:
I might have enought to take a couple runs with the 197.45s
@cowie and @EddieG
if you have GTX 480* then:
I request that you should post here after test you may enable or not OC for your CPU. you must show framerates (all graphics tests but CPU tests aren't importants). because your CPU is excellent efficient for each core speed.
* - you must use reference speed (= 700MHz core, 924 QDR VRAM, 1400 shader) and you may NOT enable any overclock.
NOTE: sorry for bad english.
^no i dont have mine anymore i might get a lightning if i can find one on sale
I got the 98gt card off the pot not really helpig on that.
Figured i would give a 88gtx a simple GPU volt mod + dice @ -40c.
with 1.38v 3d (1.46v 2d) it was good for 783 a bump to 1.42v 3d (1.49v 2d)got it going very nicely at 810 in all dx9 benches.
i can do better with my 2500k on dice and more voltage/ln2 on the card.
so i left alittle for later
Cowie you welcome to borrow my 480 Ltn' if you want.
ok. but have you gtx480 lightning?
you don't forget interface bus different between 2 videocards. therefore, 88gtx 384-bit bus is 1.25x faster than 88gt/98gt 256-bit despite same speeds OC (core/shader/memory) on both cards.
