I need to work on my drivers some. I believe this was 21x220 4620MHz, score seems low for the MHz I was using. Maybe try a lower vcore too.

hiya drouge nice going ,another 32 k plus score ,score seems about right to me for mhz , chief dave has got similar, and running slightly tighter ram timings, its amazing the heat these i7 give off when clocked up and some volts added, over 20 degrees with single stage, HOT HOT

What can I say, I have a crappy chip. Damn bclk limited IMC's. Looks like this is the best I can do. 21x221 is all this chip has in it. I will work on it a little more, as time permit's.

Thats awsome results at that settings, i bet you hit 21K easy when running that Quad at 4+ GHZ. I always wonder what happens when i slap a Quad in my rig:)

its still a massive score drouge but i know what you mean on ss you'd bet on getting close to 5ghz,

yes cowie i can't wait to start abusing the new hardware, hopefully will have the cpu and motherboard today (monday) then i can play

yes chispy it'll be nice to have the quad core cpu score on 06 for once you can't play 06 the same with a dualie

You are exactly right Glen, I expect more than 5GHz. But intel, trying to squeeze Nvidia out of their memory controller market so to speak, sure put's a squeeze on us. Good chips with crappy memory controllers. My QX9650 would do 5GHz.

Here is one to compare > Try different drivers to see improvement.
You should be getting higher > Excellent clocks though.

Thanks man, was fun, and I all ways thought ht on an i7 hurt 06, as it brought down the clock? O well ty gurus :) Right now I am on a GTZ, with petra tech pump, top, push pull 320 and I don't want to know my temps on that run :O My block is 90 off and I need to fix that, hell I need a drain and refill. This case (pc 201b is a huge bear but I love it).

I just grabbed the new bios that unclocks my qpi ratios and will give it a try this weekend. I really love love this mb and it has a ton more left in it, but I am a bit distracked. Just picked up a P II 955e, and a cross hair III to mess with too :) The raid rocks and now all 8 drives are off the adaptec and they scream, benches and games load crazy fast and the pc marks where nice,,, had w3250 wr for a while but now I am down to 4th. Thanks man, go gurus!!!
    Dave :)

Great going there Dave , wich Adaptec controller you got ? I got one Adaptec Raid5805 512MB DDR2 iop 1.2Ghz. they just release a new firmware in Adaptec also about 4 weeks ago and it is way faster than all the previous firmwares i have tried  you should flash your card to the latest firmware and you will see a big improvement , Now it supports officially SSDs with this firmaware , the adaptecs raid cards. I got only 8 SSDs on mine but yes they fly :D.

@Phrozin have you tried flashing to Asus top bios 4890 ?

I got the same card man :) I had a 3805 I think and I did not like ssds at all, grrrr. This one is better but it still drops the ssds off line every now and then. I will flash it asap man, thanks a ton! It's funny as my 1st adaptech card was a 4 channel uw160 back in 98, man that was cool as hell, still got it and it is a true pci 32 and 64 bit card...thanks man!

Yep i think you need to flash it in order to have it work propperly without droping the SSDs , never had single problem with it , me like this Raid card too, i used to have Adaptec 2405 but only had 4 ports :/ so i sold it.

wow old Raid card, 4 channels :D , still working ?
