New sqore with the 780i. So far, less V, better OC less temp. Ram was loose 850 5-5-5-15 2T. Time for 3.9, then more ram tweaking. Thanks!!!
PS E8400 on the way from the egg!!!

Nice work there cheif, great job! I think you'll enjoy the E8400 (I know I am)! By the way I imagine you can do better than 615Mhz on the cores can't you (even though their air cooled)?

Those are some great clocks on the GTS Billabong! Are you able to get through 3DMark06 with higher clocks on the Q6600? With that said thought 3.6Ghz is very decent for sure! Great score by the way.

    Thanks mate, :)

I reckon I can hit 3.8GHz (hopefully) and the memory has quite a lot left in it. I have had it at 1333MHz @ 7-7-7-20 but I believe the timings would tighten up more than that, probably still CAS6 though, if I want to exceed the 1.7v in the specs i believe it will run at 5-7-7-5-12 with 1.9v, I'm just a little reluctant to overvolt $600 odd worth of memory by that much.

Going to have a bench session this weekend if the weather stays cool.

    lol

EDIT: grrrrrrrr, bloody bot is reporting my card (on page 1) as a GT 512MB, I can't see what is wrong with my bot string to make it do that :(

EDIT 2:Now it's saying GTS 512 lol, silly bot

I have not been benching much as of late, been doing something crazy... playing games! lol Man we got a bucnch of realy good ones out now, and I realy dig UT3. I have gota run some crysis, but I am impressed with Bio... hellgate, not so much from DX9 to DX10.

Back to scores, I was fine and stable up to 3.9G last night, and a nice change from 3.75 with the 680i, but I broke my GPU drivers, and I kept looisng the shader on the 2nd GPU when I OC, wierd. So I played some UT and everything is coollol. I wish they would do more then 615 and 915 (1830) but they just will not. I removed the HS, added fans, same same. Stock they will not go more then 615 and 915 and I have tried, again and again.

My e8400 will be in tonight so I will run more benches tonight, and I am hoping for 4.5G, as I am not afraid to throw some core V @ a 200$ CPU :devil:Thanks man more later tonight!!!
    Dave
PS hell yea, great times we have now, the CPUs keep getting better, faster and cooler and the next gen GPUs are just around the corner he he

Been messing with the new chip all night and above 4.2 it wants more core, fsb, mcp... I dig it so far, and have been playing UT back and forth too testing :nerd: Great chip so far. Core is up to 1.40 idle. Thanks!
