    Athlon 64 3500, Venice Core, 512kb L2 Cache

    Vs

    Athlon 64 3700, San Diago Core, 1Mb L2Cache

Difference £18. I suppose it is a no contest to go for the 3700 for that price.

    Is it?

I'd definitely get the 3700. That extra cache does make a difference, for a little extra cash. Heh heh. I've read the many reviews on Newegg, and they say it rocks and that many people said they were glad to get this one over the 4000+ (many overclocked theirs.)
