True however the last few Nvidia driver releases have been crap and known for crashing. its certainly not up to Nvidia driver quality people are used to. very annoying stuff!

    Thanks Jonas.

Typical! How can NVIDIA have the nerve to call a driver game-ready for Batman: Arkham Knights then when it has that many issues? I mean one of them even mentions the dreaded TDR! :3eyes:

Well while it doesn't help much at least Nvidia is being straightforward and very open with it and listing the current known issues, for both AMD and Nvidia there's probably a lot of other open issues that we never get to know about.
(Though it's hopefully mostly very minor issues or issues that require a very specific system setup before they trigger or how to say.)

So should people simply deal with the fact that any driver past 350.12 will give you random crashes while playing Witcher 3?

Any driver 347.XX and above will give you random crashes with Witcher 3

350.12 does it too, just more rarely.

I have only played Witcher 3 on Windows 10, but I haven't experienced one crash in 85 hours of playtime. Think it's a Win 7/8 specific issue?

Witcher 3 craches only with OSD mode and Nvcap64.

If you guys are hoping to see a listed fix issue with TDR's , it won't happen, even if they do make adjustments.
There are so many reason's for driver reset there not going to say "fixed" .

    Just IMO .

On Win7 I also had no crash in about 40 hours of playtime. And that's with 2x970 SLI and any of the recent drivers.

From what I have seen I still think that there is something up with the driver quality lately but it seems not to affect every configuration.

Is NVcap64 referring to Shadowplay? I have that turned off but have MSI AB OSD turned on with this game capping it to 60.

this. 350.12 gave me 2 crashes within 3 or 4 days playing witcher 3. Yeah its way less than the newer ones but still crashed bad, couldn't recover monitor had grey screen when it happened and needed to manually reboot.

Just crap all around , 347.88 probly safest bet unless this newest driver fixes the issue which it probably doesn't.

    Same here.

I mean there was a time after the game was patched to 1.06 that it crashed out a few times with a 'Display Driver stopped responding' message but then I disabled the Nvidia streamer service.

Are the Windows 10 patch notes the same - i.e 4k & SLI issues on Arkham Knight?

What driver do you guys use for W10? .12 is the only stable one for me. I'm hoping this one fixes some issues but with a changelog that states nothing, it's not a good sign.

I have used 352.84 for nearly all of my Witcher 3 playtime. Never attempted using 350.12 because it wasn't designed for Win10 and probably causes under the hood issues.

Same here, 352.84 and no Witcher 3 issues with Titan X.

If anyone can find Windows 10 Arkham City driver notes and post them here i'd appreciate it.
