Best waterblock for Strix is Aquacomputer Kryographics RTX 3090 Strix waterblock and their Aquacomputer active backplate for RTX 3090, I'm running their waterblock on RTX 2080Ti AMP with active backplate and love it

Not sure if other companies will release their waterblocks with active backplates

At 70-75% with XOC BIOS my backplate is quite warm on touch, used IR thermometer and been reading 45°C, not sure how hot VRAM temperatures are

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Highest power limit for 2 8pin GPUs is 390W(Galax or Gigabyte) ,you can try KPE XOC BIOS which will pull around 600-700W when you will be running at 100% power limit, due this be very careful and be sure yours PSU is up to job and mainly you have well ventilated case if you will be trying that KPE XOC BIOS

I posted my results or scores with KPE BIOS and stock Galax 390W BIOS

I'm hitting in Cyberpunk 2077 something like 383-386W with Galax 390W BIOS, with KPE XOC BIOS locked at 65% it pulls 100-120W more than Galax 390W BIOS

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

well divide 2220 by 1000 you get the GHz value as far as am aware so not really no

MHz , kHz is about 1000
    kilo is 1000
    Mega is 10000000
looks like you have max 2200MHz but its nothing because is peek
best test for you is some bench from 3Dmark , you have all loged
and AVERAGE frekvenci is more realistic than maximum

my maximum is 2200 too, but average and maximum without drop 1930MHz
    1930MHz/21500Mhz/0,85V

Yes there you seeing right, 2220MHz, this usually you see like split second maybe not even that, unless you are running Asus RTX 3090 Strix OC or EVGA RTX 3090 Kingpin with XOC BIOS and have very good sample and have temperatures below 20's

I think @nizzen and @chispy have good samples of Asus RTX 3090 Strix OC which will do such clocks in benchmarks or gaming

My Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro wouldn't do such clocks, maybe split second during the load of Port Royal, but usually in gaming 2130-2145MHz what I can achieve

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Yes your right it was a peek hit, I just did a port Royal run at 1440 and I get the same 2.2 peak with an average at 1.89 or if you go back to School 1.9, this is in fact a Zotac at 350w, I did have it Flashed to a Gigabyte Bios but I was not happy with it as it was actually a little slower than when I got it so have re flashed back to standard just auto tuned with the Zotac app but its water cooled so that probably helps as well.

    Hi there

I would try KFA2 390W BIOS,I'm using this and I can get 14200 points quiet easily, best score 14908 which I achieved is with KPE XOC BIOS 1000W and that's with 80% power limit,I think I can do 15k or something above that, but don't think so I will do 15200-15500 with Palit, what offset are you using and what VRAM clocks? With KFA2/Galax BIOS I'm using 165MHz and 1200MHz on VRAM for Port Royal, for normal gaming +100-115Mhz and 1200MHz on VRAM

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura

@suty455 as my friend @jura11 already said , this cards can peak for a split second to 2200Mhz but will not run at that frequency unless you are in sub-sero temperatures and have a moded ( shunt mod ) or xoc bios on it.

    Kind Regards: chispy

    Your talking in strange tongues!
    offset?
little ram slider thing is auto set at +200 (shows as 2400mhz in tests?) GPUz shows 1219/1695?
TBH I dont normally go in for OC very much so the terms dont mean a great deal to me have enclosed a screenshot of the app I used and GPUZ I did try AB but I just dont get on with that app at all

Aquacomputer list one with an active back plate for the strix but currently no stock am just about to return my alphacool and swap for the Aqua reference one as there is one backplate screw that is misaligned from Day 1 and am getting no joy from Alphacool over reimbursing me for the TPV one use fittings and pipe I will have to replace to exchange it, am also going to get the standard backplate as I really dont need the active one am not into OC the GPU and frankly the damn thing should run anything I can throw at it for a few years at least

Thought one or two of you might be interested in this. I've been waiting for the gorgeous looking EK 3090 FE waterblock that was apparently due for release in December. Getting impatient now as I really want to get my loop/rig finished so I dropped them a note and apparently its not expected to be available to order until mid Feb.

I am reconsidering it tbh as while they look amazing they are ridiculously expensive. Might save some cash and grab a Corsair one instead if they become available sooner.

    @MikeMK

Personally I would have look on Bykski waterblocks, they perform and looks okay there for money and temperatures are great too

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura
