I saw them, I was just pointing out that info in your OP was not that bad.

With LatencyMon I do not see a full picture. It only states one thing for ISR and one thing for DPC.
Does that 1.4 ms spike repeat on every LatencyMon session? Or was it only one time?

Il try another session and see if it happens again.

Do 3 sessions - more reliable way.

This is why i would consider the nvidia driver only if the dxgkern was being flagged as high latency, the nvidia driver precedes the dxgkern due to synchronicity between the pair you'll always see this pop up when the driver hits a long running interrupt. Remember the weird Assassins creed hangs that would resume a moment later?, this was a nvidia dxgi command spiking cpu usage to 100% periodically, these would throw dxgkern as the long running dpc.

watching the driver activity in the system process with process explorer (launched as Trusted or System) would get a break down of the system cpu usages if a full performance trace is too difficult.

@kman try an alternate cable, if you're using display port and the display supports adaptive sync via gsync or freesync a bad cable can result in unusual graphics card interrupts that don't appear DPC or ISRs

the ISR latency could also break latencymon measurements if the process is spiking core 0, since the latencymon driver runs on core 0 by default.

Ok 3 sessions 30 min each.Round after round in apex. Some rounds I got maybe 1-2 random micro stutters and on some none.

    Pictures with stats accordingly.

    CONCLUSION
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be suitable for handling real-time audio and other tasks without dropouts.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:29:36 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

    SYSTEM INFORMATION
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Computer name: DESKTOP-CRT7896
    OS version: Windows 10, 10.0, version 1909, build: 18363 (x64)
Hardware: System Product Name, System manufacturer
    CPU: GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz
    Logical processors: 16
    Processor groups: 1

    CPU SPEED
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Reported CPU speed: 360 MHz

Note: reported execution times may be calculated based on a fixed reported CPU speed. Disable variable speed settings like Intel Speed Step and AMD Cool N
Quiet in the BIOS setup for more accurate results.

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the
interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a
usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.

Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 260.70
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 3.102298

Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 256.10
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 1.185596

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    REPORTED ISRs
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Interrupt service routines are routines installed by the OS and device drivers that execute in response to a hardware interrupt signal.

    REPORTED DPCs
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DPC routines are part of the interrupt servicing dispatch mechanism and disable the possibility for a process to utilize the CPU while it is interrupted
until the DPC has finished execution.

Highest DPC routine execution time (µs): 383.616667
Driver with highest DPC routine execution time: nvlddmkm.sys - NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 460.89 , NVIDIA Corporation

Highest reported total DPC routine time (%): 0.070582
Driver with highest DPC total execution time: dxgkrnl.sys - DirectX Graphics Kernel, Microsoft Corporation

Total time spent in DPCs (%) 0.135303

DPC count (execution time 250-500 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time 500-10000 µs): 38
DPC count (execution time 1000-2000 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time 2000-4000 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time >=4000 µs): 0

    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
    _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The
process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.

NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in
dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.

Process with highest pagefault count: msmpeng.exe

Total number of hard pagefaults 5146
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 2395
    Number of processes hit: 33

kinda dumbfounded. It's either the game or the gpu driver or a mix of both.

I'm starting to wonder if its a mix of gpu driver/the game itself thats the issue.

https://www.reddit.com/r/apexlegends/comments/ksluke/weird_stutters_while_playing/ Some ppl seem to have a VERY similar issue to me.

Quite good numbers in all 3 reports.

I think that LatencyMon has a bug. IIRC, I have sent them report.
    In report 1:

Got a question for you.Yesterday while trying to fix the micro stutter in apex I tried 2 cmd commands to disable hpet but since I saw no change I reverted them back.
    Is this default correct? https://imgur.com/a/xOibTeY

    I tried :

    bcdedit /set useplatformclock no

    bcdedit /set useplatformtick yes

    and reverted them back with

    bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformclock

    bcdedit /deletevalue useplatformtick

Just wanted to make sure they are back to default.

That's the only tweak I've done trying to figure this crap out.

Yes. And you can see if they reverted by executing "bcdedit /enum" - if you do not see "useplatformclock" and "useplatformtick" in the output then you reverted to default values.
    Here is mine output:

Yep.Tried updating bios just incase but it still happens randomly.Wondering If I should try updating chipset too (since I'm using default w10 drivers but I really don't want to mess with that crap)I'm starting to think I'm chasing ghosts and that's likely not gonna do anything either.

If you are on AMD platform you have to install and then to update chipset drivers. If you are on Intel platform and on Win10 you can forget about chipset drivers (unless you see unrecognized device).

Yea I'm on a 9900k w10 1909 and device manager doesn't display any unrecognized devices.

Thought so tho.I 've looked around alot and I don't think I found 1 instance of updating chipset drivers actually solving an issue such as this on a intel cpu. It's usually a hailmary attempt when ppl do it (heard the opposite for amd)

    @kman
Btw, have you tried to disable HyperThreading in BIOS?

    Not yet.That's the thing I REALLY don't want to do.Seems a bit of a waste with a 9900k.

Currently there's report of ppl getting random crashes/freezes with apex and I'm wondering if it's related. My pc doesn't get them but I'm wondering if my PC is powering trough those moments and it displays them as random micro stutter/stutter instead of straight up freezing/crash which is preferable but still annoying.

    Devs working on it apperently.
