For years i've always kept linked the temp and pwr in afterburner, recently i unlinked and maxxed temp and set my pwr limit, really lets the card fly.
    seen 84C max on hotspot.
got 1100 or so on ram, not tried higher but reviews say 1300+, and chip underclocked a little.

Just picked up a 3070 for £640 today (UK) as an upgrade for my 2060. Seems like a good price, all things considered at the moment. Good deal, do you reckon?
It's this one: GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GamingPro Palit NVIDIA LHR

JUst sent email to evga about my 3070ti step-up, gonna cost me £100 (plus the 400 i paid for the 2060 i've been using).
Hoping to grab a 3080 by the summer, a new finance opportunity showed up but i'm in no hurry, i see 3080 cards for what i paid for my 70ti.
no regrets tho i'm happy with the ol' Palit disco ball edition, it's a solid card.:D

    EVGA XC3 Ultra 3070
Hiya all. Finally was able to picked up an EVGA XC3 Ultra 3070(only paid $650 which I thought was a pretty good deal). It runs like a champ but was wondering if someone could tell me why my clocks stay at the max(usually the clocks will go down really low when not gaming). I've tried uninstalling drivers(use DDU also) also tried the power settings in NVidia control panel and they still stay at max. Any ideas? Thanks.

Edit: It's working now. I think it was afterburner. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled AB and all works right.

I wasn't looking to get a card until 4000 series as my trusty 2070S has been putting in work doing a good job however... Asus Noctua became available for 700 quid (don't pay 700 for a 3070 btw) and I had to have it. It's more about my love of Noctua (beige/brown only) than the 3070 to be honest.

It's a unique card that will fit my small Meshify C case. Shortish but fat.

Mine has been running perfect for over a year now. Never really goes over 66c while gaming even in the NZXT H1 case.

This was my session of control today, 60hz locked @1440p, all maxxed. using dlss. Very happy with 3070ti performance so far, (this palit one is a beast it's not OCed at all.)
CP2077 will be the real test tho cause my 2080ti would manage almost solid 60.(i had dips sometimes on rare occasion with it
gpu 2 is my cpu chill out ffs. :p
Need new cooler for cp2077 tho. (maybe nxt week when 2080S goes

Got the 3070 undervolted, a little lower on the clock, but shaved 30w off gaming usage in control, uses around 160w now.
was wanting to take screenie of re village water effects they're amazing but not easily done without shadowplay which i've yet to re-install.
Anyways a vid would be much better so see them in effect.
