£1299 for RTX 3070? These prices are just crazy for 3070,who will pay that price for 3070? Thanks, Jura
For that price I think they will have stock for while hahaha, that's scalping Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
Still in stock, but thats what paid for my 3090 last September so you have to be a 'tard to pay so much for 3070, EVEN with the fact that its the top highest end model, still its not worth the premium
Sadly I wanted to get as well FE for myself, but I just couldn't get them for my build Never catch them in stock hahaha, bought I think overpriced Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro's which are not better than FE in stock form Agree its not worth it premium over FE, FE offers better value if there is any value in this but if you are comparing FE vs Palit etc which cost luke £400-£500 more If its stock or not, for that price they can keep it Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
£1299 for RTX 3070, meh, just take a look at GPU prices here where I am under the spoiler on link below, that's what I call a propper scalping: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/r...mes-freeze-and-artifacts.437714/#post-5908154
Just had a quick look on ebay.....i could sell my Msi 3070 and get double what i paid for it....things have gotten bad especially when i see a ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB ROG Strix GAMING OC Graphics Card for £3,850....this is beyond greedy.
When reputable online retailers are scalping we got a problem. i paid £400 for 2070 super before all this kicked off, £660 for new 2080ti.
Over here, even reputable brick and mortar stores are scalping these days. Which apparently begins at their suppliers.
Holy f...! And when you think backthen after NVidia's MSRP price and performance anouncement for RTX 3070/3080/3090 many were in panic selling their 2080Ti on eBay for as low as $450, $500... Many of them still didn't bought any RTX 3000 card and still are on a waiting lists. Few months later and all hell brakes loose, ouch... Was it here on Guru3D backthen someone posted that last year he sold his 2080Ti for iirc around $900 week or two before NVidia's revealing MSRP for RTX 3000 series? Can't imagine the look on the face of dude who bought that 2080Ti for $900 and week/two later realises new RTX 3000 gen is beating his 2080Ti for even less money. At least I hope that 2nd hand buyer kept that 2080Ti till now, I would be perfectly happy to own one atm.
Those prices are outrageous and I wouldn't pay these prices, if normal stores literally scalping at such scale, we need law against it for sure Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
I sold my RTX 2080Ti's(Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix and Zotac RTX 2080Ti AMP both with waterblocks etc) for £1200 each Day after releasing of RTX 3xxx series pruces of RTX 2080Ti has been great, I bought for friend build RTX 2080Ti for £500 with waterblock and another friend sold his Asus RTX 2080Ti Strix for £440 Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
If i had time-machine i'd go back and snag all those half-price 2080ti cards but i'd skip putting my name on 30 series msrp waiting lists that's just not for me.
Lets say for example, I got an RTX 3090 from a particular contest, and I decided to sell it, brand new, I would never, EVER sell it like these Good for nothing people, I been into computers for an extremely long time, and I have never seen anything like this, its an Absolute Disgrace to the PC community as a whole. Back to what I was saying about the RTX 3090(Off Topic but still relates to the RTX 3xxx in general): Now, due to the Scarcity of this Completely over-hyped card, it is an over hyped card, MSRP $1499.99 for the founder's edition, I "might" sell it like another $100-$125 More but not like 3k to a whopping 4k, Due to the fact that no one can get one, I was looking at Ebay and other sites, Can not believe what I am seeing, as I said before, during a time of Crisis, your going to see people who they really are(True Colors), and your seeing them now, Extremely Sad. But honestly, If I ever had one now and sold a new one(Founders Edition), I'll just let it go for MSRP: $1499.99 cause all of this is complete, totally unnecessary nonsense that's surrounding the RTX 3xxx in general, To much hype surrounding the card, same goes for the 6xxx series from AMD. But me personally, I would go with 2 Titan Xp's(on par or slightly faster then the RTX 3090/No RT or DLSS but who cares in this generation/Perhaps next generation or two, yes). If you can find a Titan Xp for $500 dollars, your in luck, I wouldn't go more then $650-$675, even then, would be alot cheaper then the RTX 3090 at a fraction of the price and performance would be roughly the same or lil faster(Rasterization). I checked ebay on the Titan Xp's the other day, yup, all of them are going higher then usual, but never know, might get lucky, hell, I seen 980ti Hybrid from Evga, Used, for $700 Dollars, SMH... Like others have said on other threads, Pass this generation, perhaps wait for the Lovelace generation, Even that though, not going to be easy.
Agree its absolutely disgusting and disgrace, I remember last two generations of the GPUs always hace been issue get at day one GPUs but not like this generation of GPU's, its almost impossible get one for MSRP prices unless you are lucky get FE I remember I wanted get RTX 3090 for myself, I put wanted threads on Facebook and few other sites and got few responses or replies where people asked for RTX 3090 Founders Edition £2200 as minimum and one guy asked £3k for his Founders Edition which has been used etc, then one guy asked for Strix £4k Previously you could get same Palit RTX 3090 GamingPro for £1600 but now you are lucky to get it for £2k used one or new one with £2200 If I would sell FE, I wouldn't because of I have like 2 builds on pipeline and I can't finish them because of luck of GPUs and CPUs(5950X) I do rendering and switch from RTX 2080Ti's to 3090's helped me a lot because I do large renders and with 2080Ti's I have been running out of memory and Cycles for now doesn't support out of core memory rendering Titan XP's its only one generation of Titan GPU which i didn't owned although I didn't owned too Volta and RTX Titan hahaha Yup prices currently going out of window, friend recently sold his 1080Ti for £650 Lovelace let's see how availability will be, if its same sh11tshow like now I would wait again Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
Some people must be desperate or they literally buy them to scalp more? Or they are mining with them, but if they mine, these money he will never see back as per ROI Thanks, Jura
