True, but the question is why he is still talking about releases?
He is relaying to the public what he was told. How hard is that to understand?:bang::bang::bang:
I have this PC:
i7 3930K C2 @ 4,7 HT ON 1,43v
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
16Gbs GSKILL 17000 RipjawsZ (2133mhz) 9-11-10-28 1.65v
3WAY-SLI 680GTX (MSI+ASUS+EVGA)
X-Fi Titanium Pro Fatal1ty
SSD OCZ Vertex 3 120gbs
HDD Velociraptor 150gbs
HDD Maxtor 240gbs
And guildwars 2 have ,in city and forest(at the begin), only 50 40 fps with all max, 1080p. The GPU usage is 40-60%... Some code for profile SLI?
I didn't want to say anything but... I can't help like feel the same a bit... NVIDIA forums still not online... after monhts... and still no WHQL which was going to release in a few days lol... it's a bit sad eh.
Anyway, still a fan of Nvidia but... ffs guys, get rolling already...
When ManuelG mentioned a driver could be released in a few days, it was likely true at the time. It's not like a WHQL driver that was nearly identical to the BETA would've satisfied you anyway. I imagine they're delaying the release to fix the problems we reported.
I hope it's out before Borderlands 2.
After reading some posts in this thread. I noticed there are Nvidia reps here to report issues.
That's awesome. Keep the awesome work guys .
What's about Nvidia forums? It hasn't been working since late July.
Downloaded and installed. Working great, but I don't have the Darksiders 2 AO option...
Can someone post the bits? I don't want to reinstall the drivers as I guess the next driver-update is around the corner.
Don't bother with it. Latest patch adds AO directly in the game menu and works the same without performance hit.
I thought NVIDIA had added a profile for F1 2012 but the demo I tried this morning is prone to mild flickering when the game transitions from one menu to another even though I have v-sync enabled. It is fine in the game though. Looks like the SLI flag needs updating for this game.
I didnt even know the full game was out yet.
It isn't, I never said it was; I was talking about the demo that is available to download on Steam.
I know, but I need the bits for Guild Wars 2, as I heard it works really great!
Works at 8xCSAA without Transparency and Gamma Correction, you can use 16x AF in addition, and clamp the LOD bias.
Turn off FXAA in game, and disable Ambient Occlusion usage with NvInspector too if it hits performance to much.
Here is the profile I use with my GTX580, Note that AO is disabled: GW2 NvInspector Profile
any performance increase changes to the drivers for Swtor, or is there still no driver based optimizing done? or is just the game engine it self that need the optimizing.
Personally 296.10 all the way up to 304.79 all seem to have same performance, which are rather underwhelming. even the 670 gtx I had had seriously underwhelming performance Even that card could not keep 60 fps with vsync on high at all times while ever other game I threw at it ran 60fps on high no problem
Hopefully a good set of performance drivers get released next.
Im having a problem with these drivers where when i play guild wars 2, the performance wise seems okay but the screen freezes itself for 2 seconds and the graphics start going sluggish and stutters like its 2fps
I've checked my Precision X monitor and when this happens the clocks on the card go really low and i have to reapply higher then stock voltage in order to get playable frames again.
My GPU is 100% while playing but when the crash happens its unplayable, there is no message that pops up saying the device has been removed so im pretty sure its not because my card was clocked too high.
That's fine, but consider that the game developers are probably using the same drivers we are. So it's ultimately up to them to optimize the game properly.
Has anyone saw the Nvidia Forums status update.
Thnx but what I need is the AO bit :=)
