Is it true that these drivers give negative scaling with kepler in GW2 ?
I don't think so.
The scaling isn't great by any stretch of the imagination but from what ive seen it's roughly the same performance as no SLi enabled - both cards don't go past 50% usage.
they do for me , but even with 90% usage , i still cant see a diference in FPS .. :S ( ofc not in WvW thats definetly CPU and server bound )
Is it just me or is the vsync stutter bug back on these drivers? I have been playing Borderlands 1 and I get steady dips to 59fps from 60fps. Every time this happens it feels like a skipped frame/stutter. No longer smooth.
Thanks for the feedback. Here is a song for you(good techno tune):
So....what happened to a few days for the WHQL? That was a week ago...
I'm about to get this for my setup.
1200w should be good enough for a i7930/ GTX 590 setup?
yeah Fiatsu it's quite enough for a SLI of 590GTX ^^
Anyway , teh Adaptative Sync is bit ****ed with bf3 and those driver for me :/
I've used standard vsync and it's ok now ^_^
Nice driver anyways, its a keeper for me
cya gurus ...
More than enough.
If NVIDIA ever mention the word "soon" then take it to mean a month or more. After all the forums were supposed to be back up "soon" on 24th July...
That is not the v-sync stutter bug; that is just the way the software calculates the framerate I believe so it isn't actually dropping per se, it just appears to be. The stutter bug was a larger drop of 4-5 fps every 15-30 seconds. If Borderlands doesn't feel smooth then it could be due to something else as it uses the Unreal Engine 3, which seems to suffer from the issue you describe for some.
I've just tried the game myself and despite the framerate hovering between 59 and 60 fps, it feels completely smooth with the mouse or controller. I have AA forced as well.
Adaptive VSync as a whole doesn't play nice with Battlefield 3.
Please fill out the following form and include your monitor make and model, the exact screen resolution and refresh rate used when this happened, connection type (custom resolution if used), and any other relevant information you may feel would aid us in reproducing this issue.
Also please include your graphics card make and if possible the video BIOS version it is using.
Same as I asked for this user in the post:
Please fill out the form so that our QA team can investigate this and include as much detail as you can, especially the info I requested of the other user.
What's the go with the following
2.Driver release ?
3.Drivers having Pixel clock limits ? "http://120hz.net/content.php?125-Do-Not-Buy-Nvidia-Cards!"
Your really doing a good job at turning people from nvidia to ati keep it up and my next cards will be ati as well this is horrible for a company such as yours
These forums have become the closest thing to an official forum, Nvidia has really dropped the ball on this one. Were the forums hacked or were all the servers stollen?
New drivers would be nice, as I still have an odd issues with Borderlands when only on of my cards is used correclty in SLi, only a reboot solves this. Although a single gtx680 is enough to run the game, it would be nice to actually have Sli working correclty. I never had this issues when i had 2 GTX 470 cards.
oh yes, as if at ATI's camp everything is nice and perfect...
got any link for mobility driver? does it support laptop? thanks!~
Yeah AMD's drivers at this point are in just as bad a spot.
It must be tough though. Seriously the amount of stuff they must have to do with the coding and what not , must be insane.
