Ubisoft has been working on a new installment of the Prince of Persia saga nearly a decade ago, called Prince of Persia: Redemption, and it was canceled in 2011. Although we had never seen anything ab... 3 Minutes of Prince of Persia: Redemption Gameplay Released, Was Canceled in 2011
The 2000's Prince of Persie trilogy was fantastic. Actually all of the games are available on GOG + with some tinkering they work flawlessly on modern systems.
Seeing how Assassins Creed is loosing its identity this is a good time to revive Prince of Persia. I heard they are working on a new one.
Some of my favourite games were the POP trilogy. But when the series becomes a milking cow, everything turns into crap (looks at Assassins creed).
Well, I'm 99% sure this is it. Given how popular the Tomb Raider reboot was/is, or how well games like SW Jedi Fallen Order are doing, this would be a perfect time to reboot the PoP franchise.
I was just thinking about PoP the other day, cant wait for the next version. This gameplay looks freaking amazing and its 8 years old. PoP and Splinter Cell need to come back ASAP
No microtransaction or loot boxes how am I supposed to enjoy this game? Probably the reason it was cancelled.
I wouldn't say Assassins Creed has turned to crap. Yeah, there were a few duds over the past couple years.... but Origins/Odyssey are quite fun (though i could do with less naval combat scenarios in ASSASSIN games), and to me, Valhalla looks like it could be pretty epic, too. As much as i'd like to see them get back to being in Italy and such, the total overhaul of the combat system in the latest games was WAAAY overdue. No longer going for the action movie cliche of one baddie approaching the protagonist at a time.
I am on the other end i loved black flag for the naval battles and the in between missions on foot was a chore before i get back to naval battles! Now i also loved odyssey but my opinion on that one can not be counted as a greek i am more than just biased towards it .... hearing Cassandra saying malaka so often always made me chuckle (i am an easy man to amuse i guess ), also talking with Socrates and such historical figures i knew their actual stories from school it was just ... Well priceless for me
Origins actually bored me to death, I was so unhappy I didn't even try the DLC. I guess everyone has different tastes, I loved the naval combat and that made the game revive after AC3 final fiasco.
