Hey guys, I have just installed a new build.

    4790K
    MSI MPower Z97
    2 x 8 gb Corsair Dominator 1600
    2 x 290X reference

    Everything is on water.

So, I was having huge issues getting this to POST, and swapped my ASUS Z97 VII Hero back in.

    Same problems.

Turns out that the display was only coming from the secondary GPU... So that was a big headache.

My question is though, what can I do to troubleshoot this? I currently don't have Windows installed.

Could the top card be faulty? Or... could the water bridge be causing this to not quite connect correctly (eg bending the top card down perhaps?)

    Any other ideas welcome!

Check the BIOS for primary GPU

Install Windows too, Ive heard some people having issues with POST not appearing on primary GPU but Windows displays on it fine

Try a different port (DVI, HDMI, Displayport). Or try a simple thing like turning your monitor on before turning on the PC.
