Anyone else getting bluescreen / crashes / lockups with the latest WHQL drivers and with stereoscopic enabled? Well, I have and even after a clean remove with Driver Sweeper + Ccleaner. I'm pretty sick of this overhyped, expensive piece of garbage 3D glasses. Sure, the nVIDIA demo and the 3D images are cool, but games are nothing special. Your FPS is cut in half and even at 60 fps, most 1st-person shooters still stutter and don't feel as smooth but when I disable stereoscopic, everything runs smoothly and nicely again. Some people report headaches after continuous use as a result of eye strain probably.

So, am I the only one who feels this way and has these troubles? :D

Here too. I haven't seen any reports of bluescreens over in the NVIDIA forums.

As for games being nothing special, what settings are you using?? Have you moved depth up from the default of 30%? You should be able to make games look AT LEAST as good as that demo movie!

Although I'm still using the 270 driver, I tend to agree with the OP. IMO, 3D isn't all that, especially with movies. I haven't tried movies made for 3D however movies that are originally intended for 2D viewing aren't that great when viewed in 3D....alot of ghosting is my main complaint. When I decrease the depth, then the movie might as well be played in 2D. I sometimes get headaches playing games. As such, I usually play games in 2D instead. All in all, a waste of money.
