That's the one.
Do you actually use any AA in that game?
If so what AA setting do you use in the game?
Try turning on some of the AA transparency choices in NVidia Control Panel/3D Settings to see if that makes flickers go away.
Try booting up your PC into Low Video Resolution mode (press F8 as you're booting up to get to that menu choice) and once you're booted up install that same driver on top of itself again then reboot before testing it again.
Humm.. i don't have any problems with flickering here, using Beta 270.32 on SLI 460GTX...
@hunter why did you change your GC to Nvidia something?
Yep, I pointed this out near the start of the thread.
NVCPL is crashing for me as well. Tried reinstalling over the top of the current installation0 in Safe Mode, still crashing.
problem persists, and according to laptopvideo2go forums, this problems exists since 267.66
c'mon nvidia, where's the damn driver?? a true driver with full support and performance improvement..
No problem for me , I can change my 3dsettings without any problem in nvidia control panel.
Coming early April according to ManuelG on the GeForce.com forum. It would have been out by now but it was delayed a couple of weeks... qu'elle surprise, eh?
Yea this will update my driver for bfbc2 over 267.26. About the same performance but I´d say this driver is stuttering sligthly less.
thanks for the heads up, getting them now
will report back ! ! !
Yay... I found my performance to be sub par with the 267.60 driver, rolled back to the .59 and now we have the .87. I am PUMPED IT'S EXTREME!!!
Oh and Hai2u team green. I sold my 5970 + 5870 and went to dual 580 gtx's after hating myself for two years using AMD.
I don't see any performance gain or loss with these drivers..
think I'll keep them for a couple days to see how they pan out with other games
Well, the problem has never happened to me which means yours is fixable.
Check out this tutorial at NVidia forums on how to fix the Control Panel and see if it works for you:
I can run control panel, this doesn't fix anything. I switched back to 267.60, no problem with them.
for teh lulz
on a serious note im not proud of my old 250gts anymore..
those with Control panel issue just overwrite the driver again and reboot.
Well this was nv recommendation if you have missing or broken nvcpl.
pff..i hope..we need a proper driver.
Ahh **** it... I've tried everything and I still can't get the flickering to stop..
I guess I'll just have to use one GPU for a while, until Nvidia and/or Crytek get their act together and release a proper set of drivers/patch.
Luckily I can easily run Crysis 2 at 2560x1600 very high with very good performance on a single overclocked GTX 480.
On a side note, I'm definitely enjoying the game. The gameplay is significantly better than Crysis, and while the graphics aren't as impressive so to speak, it's still pretty damn good.
And the performance of the engine is spectacular. I prefer it like this, compared to waiting almost 3 years to be able to play the game at 2560x1600 maxed out.
