Nice set, all games run smooth, no probs atall.
It's not constantly at 90, that's a peak (had to spend a minute looking around at the sky to get the screeny). Average is usually around 60-70, drops as low as 45 occasionally.
The 90% is GPU usage, not fan speed.
I have the film grain effect turned off because I don't like it, don't know if that makes a difference? Also vsync is forced off in nvcontrol panel and off in game...
Does forcing AA work in ME1? Never actually tried (as you can see from the screeny)
I remember there being a problem with the physx in the game.
The problem started at the part where a bunch of cops started shooting through the glass at you and continued through the rest of the game.
Disabling physx at that point made the game run smooth again.
I believe it was later fixed with a patch, though I could be wrong about that.
700MHz isn't that fast for a 9800GT is it (or has he edited his specs)? My GTX+ runs at 745MHz out of the box
Is that the location wher Faith meets her sister
You are Great a Hunter. My frames rates now show around 120.
Thanks for the tip mate.
But I just hope the flickering does not come in this.
And for those Who would like to try this and donot know it the file is located in
Just search for 62 .
i ended up going back to 260.99, 266.58 have the better IQ (sharper textures) hands down but i cant deal with the mico-stuttering/lag i get on both my computers with them. namely Black Ops and BC2 ...
They certainly seem to be better for GTX4xx and up. I've seen a fair few people with issues on older cards.
I have a weird issue with the current Afterburner beta, and these drivers (and the 265.90's) as when I set profiles for 2D and 3D clocks it crashes the drivers when it switch from the 2 modes, any ideas?
Er... I think it was just after that, yeah (it's been a while since I played it).
Yep, works here as well. But this doesn't work in ME2. The game won't start if i do the modifications to the .ini file. Which is sad.
ohh that calms me down.
I was really pissed of at that moment.
Guess I turn off the physx for that moment
ya i havent read too many isuues with 400/500 series, but they blow on my 260 sli and my 8800GTs sli machines. great IQ though, just wish 260.99 had the IQ of 266.58
anyone get pixperan crashes with this driver?
Hi all good people ...
I just wanted to share this with you all ...
My GTX 480 has been stuttering since i got it ( everything under 60 FPS )
I almost gave up on this card but then i read a post in another forum last week.
They where discussin whether to turn off Hyper Threading or not, and some claimed it would produce smoother gameplay i it was off ( Windows 7 - 32 / 64 Bit ).
So i tried this, and it changed everything for me on my system ;0)
The games run ALOT smoother for me EVEN at 60 FPS and under ....
Hope this will help some off you with stuttering in games ... ;0)
this driver set is... boooar!ng !
gone from P45 chipset mobo with SLI hack (working) to X58 @ SLI...
everything is too silky ....
these driver sux ball hard locking all time back to 265.90 for me
so what your saying is that it could be a mb / bios hyper threaded in thing with win7 causeing these problems???
Yes that was talked about in the other forum ...
It works for me, and alot of other people too ...
And i cant feel any difference in Windows ITS fast as it ever was without .. ;0)
I know it's wrong forum but I am interested in turning off hyper threading because my GTX470 has a studder issue in alot of games and it's OCed to 800/1600/1800 and scores 5200 3dMark11 same as stock 570. Anyway is this a easy to reverse this change it's in the boot bios menu right? i7-860 Thanks for any info!
Yes its in the BIOS
And you can just turn on/off as you like ... ;0)
