Huh. System crashed when I tried to install these!
Recovered, but not gonna try that again.
I'll stick with 258.49 for now.

Dragon Age: Origins doesn't work with these, I keep getting "daorigins.exe has stopped working". Had to revert to 257.21

Profile settings don't stick. Deleting the old Nvidia folder in ProgramData helped only by stopping the games in the list to disappear.

This game runs very nice even using 3D stereo and when not using it.

    And no problem with profiles.

Wow I thought mine was bad after reading reviews of people using less Vcore, but yours takes the cake.

I ended up switching back to 257.21 since performance was pretty much the same without the loss of min fps in AC2. I don't know why people have problems with nvidia's profiles not sticking, I haven't had any issue with them since I started to use them in the 25x drivers. Used to use nhancer before that since it worked with the older drivers and not with these new ones yet.

yup. these are for developers. don't be pissed about these drivers if they cause glitches in your games. they were designed to work with developer tools. you have been warned.

Have you guys with the fps hickups/stuttering/spikes tried to switch off aero glass? It helped me a bit but its still not as smooth as in xp in some apps/games.

Once an application requests to create a D3D device the desktop effects which also use DirectX through the DWM are put on hold, by the way this is also true with OpenGL. So, unless you are running a windowed ( BAD GAME ) application; disabling aero would do NOTHING.

I decided to roll back once again but I went back to the 197.90 Quadro's for now. I didn't run into any problems with the 258.19's though. I just don't feel really comfortable running anything in the 25x.xx series right now given the various issues. It's more of a psychological issue for me I think but I'll hang on the the 19x.xx series a bit longer.

I helped out with the 258s, so, someone tell me if these keep the boost in Crysis, or if that was a Quadro thing.

Why are you guys running crysis? Both those two games sucked? :p Are you only using the game as a "benchmark" for drivers? That I would understand tho, not if you are still playing them? :)
