2500+ Clock Speed

    Hey doods, ive got a prob, my barton 2500+ is running at 1.1GHZ and my FSB is 101.0MhZ but it was supposed to be higher... anyone can solve this? i flashed my BIOS to the latest too.

    Your FSB is 100, look in Bios or a dip switch on the MB and change it to 166.

    the max i can go is 132

    (Would help if you had actual specs instead of joking ones.)

    ok sorry i've solved it.. juz for the info for the peeps out thr.. Mobo is Gigabyte 7VT600 series. there is a JP 1 on the mobo, take it out. VIOLA! u can do the settings already! juz coz when the thing is there. it runs at a standard 100MHz so u gonna do something abt it ^_^

    Yeah, was gonna say it's probably a jumper setting to differentiate between FSB's.
    Anyways, it's sorted now. :)
