    Exactly my thoughts. It seems being an early adopter doesn´t pay off... All the luck to those with problems.

    so i got my replacement today, a revision 2 card with samsung memory, runs 10oc cooler than the previous too.

    also looking at 3dmark, it auto boosts to 2025 on the core automatically, pretty good id say.

    well palit refunded, and the shop said i can have a replacement or refund, so i got the refund and bought it again, funny enough was 60 cheaper and came with battlefield 5 and anthem, so im happy with that :)

    Looks like the caps were damaged by either the factory during SMT whereby the caps might have gotten bumped just before they set into PCB. It might be possible for the card to produce alot of heat but to melt the solder it would nead to spark or arc
