it has been a rather poor year, hasn't it.
what would you recommend to the community ?
well i had an awesome time playing Days Gone.
replaying RDR2 with the latest patches\DLSS.
Its an awesome title for a porn parody too.
There were a few good games.
Depending on your preferred genre, it might have been a pretty good year.
Diablo II resurrected
Forza Horizon 5
Valheim is cool
Sniper ghost warrior contracts 2
With all these dope mods for Breath of the Wild that's always a good choice if you want to go the route of emulation.
AOE II Definitive Edition: Dawn of the Dukes.
Fun new maps/progression for single player.
All the above and add to it Kena Bridge of spirits, Sword and Fiery 7 without the RT/dx12 stuff it runs smooth and uses UE4 like no other game did
I second this.
BotW with RTGI looks amazing. Highly recommended.
Forza Horizon 5
TDPA - Little Hope and others
In case you havent played them, Dishonored 1 and 2 and Death of the Outsider.
played 2 and doto
As for "brand new" releases in 2021...
And I strongly recommend both.
Outside of that, some Early Access shooters, and a few remasters. But, nothing else "brand new/AAA" that I got this year.
There isn t much to recommend, the one i mentioned i highly recommend, great graphics and great sniper missions and immersion factor is the only fps alongside deathloop
Heavenly Bodies looks to provide some good fun, be it solo or coop. Though it shows it for ps4/ps5.. coming to steam as well same day.
Heavenly Bodies - Release Date Announcement Trailer | PS5, PS4 - YouTube
Buy ARMA 3 and install the CWR3 mod, Resistance Campaign and Red Hammer campaigns. Seriously one of the best SP experience playing the classic Operation Flashpoint fully ported to a more modern engine.
Guardians of the Galaxy may be my game of the year and I recommend it to all.
Resi 8 was also a great game.
@cucaulay malkin I'll recommend the " The imposible mission of finding a GPU at MSRP in stock" game.
It was launched a while ago and it has already some DLCs.
"The Scalpers attack" and " The manufacturers betrayal".
Don't look for a walkthrough for this game, just one thing :
Sorry for the caustic comment, but where can one vent about the whole ridiculous, circus like GPUs situation? If not on a GPU hardware oriented forum?
