Looking forward for a Samsung Galaxy S8.
Well I didn't smash my phone this year, lets see if I can keep this up and not buy another one in 2017.
good luck !
Having iPhone6plus for 2 years now. No problems so far. Hopefully it serve another 3 years to justify pricetag.
I'm ending 2016 with an N6P.... Hopefully it'll survive 2017. At 8 months old, my N5x already had to be replaced. IMHO, after several months, the N5x was a poor replacement for the N5....
What is coming as a good phone in 2017? Samsung s8? Better eve a big screen At least 3500 mah phone pls. No? Why =(
Nexus 5x isn't good enough
Nexus 6p has battery issues and can be broken easily
Pixel has freezing and sound issues
Guess my Nexus 6 will see another year, won't be buying anything from companies like Samsung that are terrible with updates.
Wanted to get Mate 9, but it's not even out here and 2017 is here.
GS8 seems to be a winner, a lot depend on it device for sammy, i hope it will be big with huge battery and explosion friendly
I'm waiting for the Global release of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime (with Band 20 LTE) then I'll get that to replace my Galaxy S3 which basically has no battery life and chokes browsing the internet.
Have a Nexus 6P now.. Nexus 4, Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Nexus 4G before that...
I'm going to upgrade late in 2017 to whatever the followup to the current Google Pixel is. I'm skipping the Pixel as it's a marginal upgrade if that compared to the 6P
Looking at the LG V20. Was initially interested in the Note 7, but for obvious reasons that was a no-go.
iPhone 8 or Galaxy S8
looks like I'll be sticking with Galaxy Alpha, unless this new galaxy A3 2017 delivers., one render looked cool if its really like that then I just might upgrade.
Nexus 5x isn't good enough? That's an understatement.... After 8 months, my 5x became nearly useless. Mine freezes constantly....it won't backup at all. I lost all of the data on the phone when I switched to the 6P....
What phone you currently own?
I'm okay with my Galaxy S7 and I think he serve me 3-4 years without problems. So maybe I change it on something like Galaxy S11.
Samsung Galaxy S6 , i change my phone every 2 to 3 years.
Looks like the 6P has issues of it's own. Bootloop issues, battery issues and then this.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTIaUH6PIvo
Maybe better skip next year and give Samsung more time to solve problem with exploding batteries?
That video is a joke. He claims he's only applying "a little bit of pressure" during his "bend test" but you can see him struggling to bend it. How many people put a lighter to a phone? Only idiots. During his "scratch" test, you can see him increase the pressure he's applying to the screen, which results in it cracking.
Every phone has issues of some sort, but the creator of that video is an idiot.
Nexus 5x has boot loop issues, random reboot issues, battery issues, lag, freezing...... There's a lot list of issues that keep becoming more and more obvious as Google releases updates for it.
