Hi i just bulid my system and the only things that left the harddisk & ram im looking for something good that can run games & multitasking with no problems . here is my spec: Asus Rampage III Black Edition intel i7 990x cooler master silent pro 1000w going soon with evga gtx580 going soon with intel ssd 320 series 300gb ram specification: 1-6 x DIMM, Max. 48GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1800(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 Hz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory. 2-Triple Channel Memory Architecture. and here is the things thats not clear for me: 1-i did find Corsair DOMINATOR GT 8 GB (2x 4GB) PC3-15000 1866 MHz DDR3 is this fine? but the specification of the motherboard dosnt shows 1866 mhz speed? so thats mean i cant use it? or its fine? if i can use it can i go higher than 1600? or i must buy th1600 and OC? or i can buy a higher speed but the max that i can buy would be 2200? 2-what would be the best ram brand for gaming that will fit my system? and here is my question about raid: what is raid? cable? and what can be useful for? it can make the harddisk faster than the ssd? thx in advance
