noisiv stop being a kb warrior and get on topic, your just being a right silly billy now arent ya nice edit lol, the dice problem is game breaking and they know about it, its a bug that came in after patch 1.3, troll on...
I dunno what issue are you talking bout but there were two things that annoyed me bout the dice. First, i couldnt identify them easily. Second, only one play per game is horrible. Three per game like it used to be was perfect. The first thing can be fixed with a mod. Check witchernexus.com, i think that it is in the top 100. Is a mod that changes the dice textures to regular dice ones. And there is a UI mod around there that does pretty well too. A few quirks can be fixed with some mods (not at the level of "fixing" that Oblivion had with mods, particulary cuz TW2 doesnt needs that much tweaking, but still it is something).
Hi, need some help guys.... I'm trying to improve the foliage pop-in by adjusting values in my docs/witcher 2/config/user.ini but no matter what I change I'm not seeing any effect? My understanding is the FoliageDistanceScale and MeshDistanceScale variables are the ones I'm after, my edited config looks like this... I've edited the user.ini file properties to 'read only' as advised by others but still I'm getting pretty bad pop-in especially in chapter 2. I'm playing Steam version of the game. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reply but still makes no difference whatever value I enter, which makes me think I'm doing something wrong :bang:
To sum it all up, TW2 version 2.0 will have the following new features: - Technical + gameplay enhancements - New, more immersive tutorial - Dark Mode = new difficulty setting comparable to insane but with new "dark themed" equipment and the ability to save - Arena mode, which is "arcade like", and looks hell lot like Die by the Sword arena with high scores (Facebook integration) - Its for Free Release date: September 29th
ill wait for 2.0 to buy this game. i hope my new pc build will be done by then. dark mode and arena both sounds very interesting.
Graphics are easily good enough, gameplay features and performance issues are far more important. This really is how to support a game, hard not to like and respect CDPR. After several half starts with me messing about, i think i will pack this away till September, sounds like it will make the game quite abit better, and the addition of the arcade mode means it could even be used with lots of people taking turns, so could be added to my drunken gaming nights
Ooh nice. I really enjoyed this game, 2.0 sounds like it's gonna be worth another playthrough assuming the new gameplay and technical features are good..
The addition of DX10/DX11 has been RUMOURED but considering the fact that the game already looks so good, in DX9 I really dont think that it shall be included!!! But who knows.....CDPR could add it in a future update
great features, looks like i'll hold up my third play through, i wanna try out dark mode, the dark equipment sounds great.
