So it has Hardcore mode like Diablo 2? Cool challenge, but i play a game for fun, stuff like that just removes it really.
I'll be playing on Normal I think. Easy difficulty sounds too easy as I read that you can pretty much kill everything with one sword on that difficulty whereas Normal requires you to use different weapons/skills. While I want to play the game mainly for the story, setting and characters and don't like hard games as a rule (I have a low patience threshold and get frustrated easily), I think I'd regret it if I played it on a too easy difficulty setting. The combat in the first game wasn't that great IMO (although it did rely on timing) but it looks so much more enjoyable in this game that I actually want a moderate amount of challenge.

Alright, can't wait for tomorrow. Seeing a 4870 get such performance, 30 FPS on Ultra, is very comforting. I hope my 470 peforms at, at least 45FPS.

Stone Gargoyle, I reckon you should go get yourself another 2gb ram today, I think you will need it for this game.
I've bought another 2GB of ram mate but my stupid Gigabyte mobo refuses to take 4GB of dual channel memory, hence why I'm stuck with just 2GB still. My machine won't boot if I put more than 2 in. Only option I have is sticking in 2 usb flash drives (7GB each) just to help things a little in readyboost.
What about not bothering with the dual channel setup and try single channel? And try a bios update? Also manually configure your ram to safe settings before putting in the new stick.
The performance difference between single & dual is non-existant, I've read in every review. For my cousins Desktop, for some reason, Dual Channel didn't work either, and I took his comp apart twice trying to figure out why it wouldn't boot. Dunno, some weird stuff.
yea usually read something about it on the news like when fallout and alien vs predator and the new mortal combat when it came out, guess witcher not blockbuster enough to warrant news and here i was thinking wow how did it get away not banned lol anyway going to cancel my pre order and ordered it at game uk, pay half the price doing so anyway, the government is doing a great job helping me throw money overseas :-/
