Soo i got a secondhand og xbox with a motherboard that has the well known leaking time keeping capacitor, which indeed had begun to leak.

I removed said capacitor fairly easily and cleaned up the excess fluid....but... i kinda broke off a 3 pronged trans/resistor (1AMw - 2 prongs on on side, one on the other side) as i was cleaning the area with isopropal.

Is it possible to buy a new one or simply resolder the thing back on?

Edit - The xbox no longer boots. It turns on but no image shows up and the power ring just flashes green and orange.

It's a transistor. Was it in the Q7G2 position? If so most likely a 2N3904 in a 1AM SMD package. Many versions of the MB... so this may or may not be accurate. Try cleaning and resoldering back on IMO.
    GL and Happy New Year.
