197.55 Driver Released for GTX 480/470

still having the same isssue with mpc hc and evr custom preset

 

Interesting these drivers work really good with my 9800gt. Thats a first, because the rest of the 197 drivers work like crap, but these are very good.

Use older drivers or drivers that work great.

just cause 2 and starcraft 2 play like crap here

 

Crysis Warhead constantly crashes with this set on my GTX 480.

Anybody else having problems with Warhead?

 

Nope, running fine on my SLI'd 470's on this driver. I have both OC'd to 775/1550/1850, 1.000 mV from stock 0.925 mV. Stable as can be.

 

Anyone know if these drivers are better than the 197.45 Tweakforce drivers?

 

Thanks, but I should have been more specific. Was looking for any other GTX 480 owners.

It's puzzling to me why it keeps crashing. Everything else is working great.

 

I have played Warhead like for like 30min in my zotac gtx 480 and did not have any problem. But i do have video errors all over my screen in the old game Risk II, i hade those problems in 197.41 to and have not tested other drivers yet, I did not have that problem befor installing my gtx 480, did switch from radeon 5770 using 10.4 preview. My secondary computer uses 197.45 on dual 8800gts (g92) and dont have the problem som i dont now if it is a driver/card bug or if it is a windows problem.

 

Well it's been awhile since I've called a driver SH!T but this one qualifies...Pretty much any game using the Unreal 3 engine doesn't run...Batman AA UT III.
MW 2 craps out etc etc...However, Crysis and BFBC2 runs just fine....

 

Nice to know...Thanks HeavyHemi, I guess ill stick with the 197.41 WHQL for now...I've tried alot of game with them (197.41) without any single issue...Mostly PhysX enabled...Those GTX4XX are great.
