In the catalyst cc my core clock is only 500mhz when its supposed to be 575, its also only 500 in all the futuremark tests. Why?
That will be the 2D clocks, will prob change to your 3d clock speeds when you play a game . Wouldnt worry bout that as its completely normal (it will change to the requested clock when you play a game)
you dont have to lol. its inate in the new x19XX series. The clocks will change when you run a 3d app. If u wanna overclock it becomes a diff question which has ben answered on this forums so many times .
Is Futuremark telling you the clock speeds of your card?.....every time I run 3dmark, it has no idea what the clocks of my card are, and simply doesnt report them.
he prolly used rivatuner for that... anyway it is a driverproblem. try to delete and unsinstall everything of the VGA drivers (run driver cleaner afterwards) and reinstall the latest drivers, did the job here. went form 8K to 11K with my 1900 ^^
Use Radlinker. I think it's the best tool for ocing and info. get it here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=609 Also check online for the exact specs of your card as some models are clocked lower I think. Don't know why though.
Okay so the clock is 500/600 in 2d apps and in 3d 575/600. Now when i o/c using catalyst center or similar (for example) itll show a 550 core o/c does this really mean 625 core in 3d apps? First off how do i remove the "only use in 3d mode" crap, id like to remove it and then put it back on when im happy with my overclock.
