    Whoa,

Two 186.xx WHQL drivers in just two weeks?, anyone know whats up with this? Does anybody have a change list, or know where to look for the changes on these?

I assume Microsoft wants a smooth release for Windows 7 but this is quite quick.

Microsoft are probably trying to build up to 190.xxx before Windows 7 goes Gold :)

As far as bugs, haven't found any. I noticed Ambient Occlusion is now available in NVCP when before it wasn't in 186.82

Like another user mentioned, I see Driver Version ForceWare 10186.91 in GPU-Z.

I only lose a tiny bit of performance in my games but 186.82 worked fine for me so I think I'll stick with those. Might do 3DMark stuff later.

Running FO3 with them the last couple of days and it's been really smooth and
pretty much glitch free. The only thing I've noticed is a fan issue when using
EVGA Precision. Everything works and registers on EP except I have to keep the
fan speed set on manual because it won't lower on auto. Other than that I haven't
had any other issues with it. I still haven't even tried any of the 190's at all but
I have to say that for me this driver has given me the best performance and smoother
gameplay for FO3 than any other i've used so far. (didn't care for 185.85)

Nice to not have my desktop resized every other reboot :D

Did you try to use an older version of EVGA Precision Tool?
I didn't see any issues with this and Riva Tuner 2.24c.

Actually i'm using version 1.7.1 and I think 1.8 is the latest,
but no I haven't used any version earlier than 1.7.1 to test
whether maybe the fan issue is a non issue. Have you?

Can someone explain this to me please? I take this as meaning that as soon as you jump out of a game it should downclock below 3D levels...for me though it only downclocks if my monitor turns off due to being idle...once I "wake" the computer up it jumps to 3D clocks...this is with Win7 x64 on a gtx260...and yes I uninstalled -> Driver Sweeper -> install new driver...

Did someone find a way to see TEMP in EVGA Precision for this driver?
