I am going to revert back to the 182.xx series.. I put in the 185.82's and at first my monitors (Dual SLI) were backwards (my left screen #1, shows in the bios, it is the first screen) yet go into windows and the screen on the right becomes #1 ??? Wtf is that about...

So i fixed that, by playing and moving the monitors back and fourth 100x (dont know explicitly what did it in control panel).. and this morning put in the WHQL's to see whats up...

    Boom, monitors reversed again..

F it.. im staying on the 182 series, i had no issues at all with them.. the 185 series is for people smoking crack.

RivaTuner 2.23 works just fine for me on these drivers....is that not normal? is it possible I had a shotty install or something else is going on if others can't use Riva and I can? I'm trying to solve my L4D crashing and I though this could be related.

no it will increase performance in game that support nvidia physx, game that dont support nvidia physx it should not have any effect but if it does u should turn it off as it will cause slowdowns.

Please, guys, is there any way to modify some info/text files in this driver package to stop system/games (and myself from choosing higher resolution) from using resolutions higher than 1024x768, or is there any other way? :chainsaw2: Help, please...

During loading this driver 185.85 (through driver's setup.exe) an error message says that the driver is not recognized by the Nvidia control panel installer included with the driver. The 185.81 installed flawlessly earlier. Also, if you try to update through the OS's Device Manager it will "update" to the 182 driver.

You never want to update through device manager, many people have large issues when going that route.

Somethig is wrong with the latest driver ... I can't watch movies anymore. I get a scratchy sound ... tried to install the older driver ... and it doesn't work either (worked before installing the last one) Using vista x64

little gain (+- 25) in vantage compared with beta 185.68

lets say it still the same

    and no problems here
    install without rebooting :)

runs fine with games like cod4, codwaw, ...

still have to try the ambient occlusion (that didnt worked here with previous 185.68 beta)

wait! I just realized that even though my G15 shows RivaTuner monitoring, I can't actually adjust clocks or fan speeds.

Will these install on 6 & 7 series without the annoying error codes in device manager? Nvidia has been lying about having that fixed in previous versions.
