Oops!! I apologize for jumping the gun fellas. Or at least what seemed like it.

When I checked the NVIDIA site early yester mornin' I thought I grabbed the 64 bit Vista, but instead I received the 32bit Vista so I purposely put the Downloading Icon. It seems that at the early mornin' hours they had not properly linked all pertinent files. Because when you go to archive section for beta and all releases, you have to select your OS version and your Card type.

Each time I selected 64bit Vista for my card and I received the 32 bit Vista file. The first time it was given, after I checked the file it was named xxxxx 32 vista.exe.

But now I see they have properly linked to each OS and card.

    Peace

i have used the new 181.22 instead of more stable 180.48 ...and i got crashes with fallout but when exiting the game not during game play ..also my benchmarks with the 180.48 was 15473 and now 15398 ... i think something is wrong ??

Congrats on that GTX295 fille007 and Welcome Home!!

Got the new driver installed and its working flawlessly for me , however so did the 181.22 beta but since NV went to all the trouble to WHQL this one I figured what the heck.

One major thing I did notice about this driver , that I had not noticed since Vista was released , is the Digital Vibrance is VERY responsive for me , as I slide the slider I actually see a very large difference from 0% up to around 33%.
For me (other mileage may very) , always before I would have to go up to 50% or higher to see the same effects and the changes were nowhere near as nice as now , my desktop pops with color and detail but its not blurry or "glowey"...but sharper somehow.

    anyone else? or am I having a 70's flashback?:toke:

I have yet to re-install Vantage since I got my new PSU so I'll try that tonight and do some bench-ees.

These drivers rocks for my rig! If I get EQ2 tomorrow I hope it will fix the crash I kept on having last April.

Patch FO3 to 1.0.0.15 or 1.1.35... this "bug" is well known.

And for the "Score" - hey, thats a decline of 0.48%... holy ****... THATS BAD!

Installed these just now, now real difference with the 181.20 WHQL or the 181.22 Beta on my system ..
Mirror's Edge works fine on both drivers, physX too.
Only thing that annoys me is the double context menu :p but i made it invisible.

i'm sorry to hear about your 4870X2 problems which is unfortunate because i haven't had any issue with mine, congrats on your new GTX295 a great card indeed, a friend of mine bought one (he had a 8800GT) lol.

i usually go with whatever works for me too and don't care if it's ATI or Nvidia, the moment my 4870 starts to annoy it will be replaced with a GTX295. :p

Do these drivers provide the Ambient Occlusion "off/low/med/high" settings in NVCP?

Have tired L4D, COD4/5 and fallout 3 with these drivers. Everything is smooth.
