These drivers suck, crysis(32 or 64bit) crashes at the end of loading a saved game.

    Back to 169.01

You guys that are having performance issues...are you checking the game profile settings after you install drivers? Many times I find my settings changed after an install

    Rivatuner beta?

I didn't see anybody try the Rivatuner beta. I tried the newest and it worked for overclocking.

Something is seriously wrong with the 169.xx drivers for Vista 64bit. I'm getting 25-30fps on the UT3 demo and before these set of drivers I was easily pushing over 60-70fps.

No, nothing has changed in the game. The only variable that has changed is the drivers. I have checked all setting both in game and drivers, nothing like 8AA has been turned on or anything like that. I just can't understand it and don't actually have my 163.75 drivers still which where working great to see if it goes back up, which it most likely will.

well.... just because it's working, doesn't mean it's working very good. could still be one massive bug in either Crysis or the drivers causing the performance issue.

Hell... my friend was playing earlier, shot the top off of a tree, then shot another chunk.... and the chunk stayed there, even when he shot another chunk of the tree down below that.

How did you install the drivers? I always have problems if I try to uninstall the driver myself and then install the new one. I have had no issues just installing right over the old driver, as I think Vista uninstalls and installs the drivers a diff way. Weird but whatever works... Even Nvidias own sight mentions nothing of uninstalling the current driver before running the new one.

LOL, yea I had that happen as well. I think physics need to be on very high or you get a glitch here and there.

drivers seem absolutely fine on crysis for me so far (xp 32bit) got a mild boost according to the gpu benchmark, but the difference is neglegable over 169.01

    Can anyone answer this ?

Are the missing resolutions back with this one ?

There are something like 15+ missing resolutions for me with .01's and .02's.

    Thanks.

Just over the top, like always. Never had an issue that caused a decrease in performance THIS badly since now.

Crap, hope it's not a cirtain number of driver installs and then something happens like Vista thinking you changed PCs too many times or something to that effect. Just for the sake of asking, how many times have you changed graphics drivers?

Yep the new 04 are missing resolutions too, someone has to hack the inf file to add all res's.
