" improved compatibility for World In Conflict" yea OK! instead of it crashing every 40 minutes it crashes every 10 minutes what a great driver! framrates seem to be increased but that doesent mean a thing when u cant play the GAME!!!! NVIDIA FIX IT! I just bout this game and i cant even play it, i have to save it every 10 minutes so i dont loose my position when it crashes.......

Are you sure this is even a nvidia issue? I can play the game for hours with no problems.

I've tried this benchmark - PT Boats: Knights of the Sea, with this set, i never really heard of this game dough, but the dx10 fx are nice water especially, it ran well avr 28fps on 1280x1024 no aa, but let me put it this way i will need to buy me a quad very soon, this game requires a q6600, 3gigs of ram and 8800sli wdf?? are they crazy? those are vista spec. All dough AA is a killer for this game, cuz it antialiases waves and the ocean to (here i got avg 7fps with only 2xaa lol)

But drivers all and all seem stable.

12,000 is *extremely* hard to believe....but it's right there in the compare link....and with an 8800GTS 320mb no less!

The best I've ever been able to do was just under 11,000 and you can see my specs right here.

I'm very curious, what are your core and mem clocked at??

    EDIT:

DOH!! LOL.....it was done at 1024x768.....now it makes sense lmao :heh:

Thanks nvidia for the new drivers almost everday a new one lol
but that's why I love nvidia at leats we HAVE drivers
not like ATI where people think because they release less they fix more, that's absolutely wrong they just leave it bugged they don't care (have a x1900 in my 2nd pc)

I also have crashes in world in conflict but it may well be because of my overclock if it this then great, now I have a 3dgame that actually tells me my system is unstable instead of some math application.

Gonna try those and edit my post if I see changes in wic benchmarks

I must say I... Not since Nvidia's initial driver optimizations back when the Riva was king... have I been soo blown away by a simple driver release! All games I play have a massive "smoothness" about the gameplay and framerate with this latest BETA.

    I play my games at 1280x1024 75hz w/everything maxed (Vista 32)

    These games include..

    Bioshock (DX10)
    MOH: Airborne
    World in Conflict (DX10)
    Tiger Woods 2008
    DiRT

This was going from the last WHQL that was released not just days ago. Nvidia, you are my HERO!

Now this is purely based on gaming feel, as I have done no benchmarks and I would be stupid to post about such a significant difference with out merit. These drivers seem to make my setup scream!

Sorry but WIC crashes for me also. The demo never crashed at all after playing it for hours on end, and no other game hangs the screen but the music continues to play....weird.

WiC runs fine here too, Supreme Commander on the other hand has Always crashed for me, no matter the drivers :)
Different hardware (other than gfx cards) different outcomes i guess..

Before installing the 163.69, WiC ran horrible on my PC. After installing this driver, it's so much better now. As well as Lost Planet. I'm sticking with this until 163.71 isn't beta anymore.
