Not everyone on this forum only plays games.

Grats for the ram, I should try some SDK and make something myself. When I got UT2004 I opened the Unreal Editor and closed it some time later, no manual or anything, did not look for one either. Lets see how long my patience lasts this time.

I wanted to do this as well but I need to save some more cash so I can buy different RAM then I have now and replace the current 8GB as well.

Goddamn Vengeance heat spreaders are blocking my CPU cooler... I'm forced to use DIMM 2 & 4 for the moment.

Could have bought the low profile version. Same thing just without the top!

Yeah I wasn't thinking back then. Old socket 775 mobo broke down and I just went to the store for a 2600K / New mobo / Ram.

And I thought my 8 gigs was pointless XD

Nah but really more power to you if you actually need that much memory. I do think that 4G is too little for a 64 bit system at this point.

My work machine (not my puny home one) has 128GB ram.
Unfortunately , its an HP server without the possibility of removing ram testing at boot.
When I turn it on, I have time to make coffee before it boots.
    And make soup.
    And read a book.
    Save a kitten....

I gotta get you a screenie of the task bar sometimes, its hillarious.
    32 cores and 128 gb make a drool-worthy sight.
The ati 3200 graphics card on the machine is not.

I have 16 Gb because it looks good to have all the ram slots filled.

16GB is nice, but what about 32GB? Does anyone here have that amount of RAM?

I've been told that Windows will always create a pagefile regardless of what you disable.
    Windows needs a pagefile.
