How do you know Fox's score went up? He didnt mention anything. I downloaded this driver from asder link, gonna do the installing but probably not tonight (1:30am).

I'll run api overhead test and time spy and see if there is any difference.

This driver is on right. 3DMark sysinfo for some reason silently crashes and therefore result is considered as invalid.
And on top of that it does not read any system properties at all. But all clocks are identical to system on left.

Quick all in one package for easy installation with all components (no raptor), like a normal crimson package.

Please note LEGACY cards are not supported even if they are listed in the inf, it will install nothing if you have legacy, this is a trend that has been going on for quite a while, i don't understand why amd keep the cards listed in the inf even if doesn't install anything for those cards.

I seem to be having a complete fail in my logic today :banana:

Am still wondering if the legacy cards will work if they are reintroduced to the INF. We tried this with newer drivers past 16.2.1 and unfortunately non GCN cards didn't work. (maybe we went wrong somewhere or didn't consider something).

Im pretty sure these don't contain non-gcn driver path, as I tried the ogl dll on doom and it crashes. Its a good quick way to test if a driver will work or not.

just installed and for me increases are not that high but maybe i need to DDU old driver first to make sure im running this beauty

This driver recognized my card as 7970 instead 280X (didnt see that for a long time). Its also recognized as 16.6 ver. using Vulcan ver. 1.0.13 (not 1.0.17 like in 16.7.3 driver).
