Custom resolutions were added to CCC (-lite to be precise) with Crimson.

I saw custom res settings in CCC-lite from the Crimson drivers but it's not available within the Catalyst drivers. At least not in the official ones, don't remember if modded had this. Still, I'd prefer to have all available resolutions listed by default without using 3rd party software.
Not a big issue for me with 15.11.1 since performance is quite similar to modded ones. I get a tad bit more FPS with modded but nothing quite significant. And most people won't even care about lower resolutions anyway. I might try swapping ADLs later just to test it out :)

Possible to have both VCE and OpenCL

The 17.1 drivers support VCE but not OpenCL. Is it possible to have both

Tried swapping atiadlxx.dll, atiadlxy.dll, atiapfxx.blb, atiapfxx.exe to see if this might fix missing resolutions but sadly it didn't work. Got these dlls from 16.9.1 which don't have resolution bug. Can inf file screw this up? Might look at it if this is a possibility.
Also tried 17.1 and they don't have all of the resolutions as well. Does Catalyst build uses all of the files from 17.1?

Great pack. After a long break i tried install official amd drivers once again and once again black screen on win7. But with those i have running all normally, ocl , newest ogl and so on. Thank you!

On win8.1 oficial beta 16.2 works but not ocl.

Managed to fix the missing resolutions bug. It was because a couple of entries were missing from the inf file.
Specifically for my card (6850) I had to replace and add these 3 HKR values:

    [ati2mtag_NI_SoftwareDeviceSettings]
    Code:
    HKR,, DALNonStandardModesBCD1, %REG_BINARY%,12,80,08,00,00,00,00,00,13,60,07,68,00,00,00,60,13,60,10,24,00,00,00,60,13,60,10,24,00,00,00,75,13,60,10,24,00,00,00,85,13,66,07,68,00,00,00,60,13,66,07,68,00,00,00,60,14,00,10,50,00,00,00,59
    HKR,, DALNonStandardModesBCD2, %REG_BINARY%,14,00,10,50,00,00,00,60,14,40,09,00,00,00,00,60,16,00,09,00,00,00,00,75,16,00,09,00,00,00,00,85,16,00,09,00,00,00,01,00,16,00,09,00,00,00,01,20,16,00,09,00,00,00,01,60,20,48,15,36,00,00,00,72
    HKR,, DALNonStandardModesBCD3, %REG_BINARY%,20,48,15,36,00,00,00,80,12,80,07,68,00,00,00,00,12,80,09,60,00,00,00,00,16,00,12,00,00,00,00,70,17,92,13,44,00,00,00,00,18,00,14,40,00,00,00,00,18,56,13,92,00,00,00,00
Original inf only had this line:
    Code:
    HKR,, DALNonStandardModesBCD1, %REG_BINARY%,12,80,07,68,00,00,00,00,12,80,09,60,00,00,00,00,16,00,12,00,00,00,00,70,17,92,13,44,00,00,00,00,18,00,14,40,00,00,00,00,18,56,13,92,00,00,00,00
From what I was able to find, BCD123 are responsible for the resolutions on different connections like DVI or HDMI (I use DVI btw), and hex values correspond to the different resolutions. Original line also has less hex values from what I can see, thus leading to less resolutions available.
Copy-pasted and replaced all 3 BCD values (just in case) on that line from the original 15.11.1 drivers and now I have all of the resolutions back.
Checked the values in 16.9.1 inf and those were identical to the official 15.11.1 but values in modded 17.1 and modded Catalyst were different and only had that one single line.

Didn't check other cards but all HWIDs that get their settings from [ati2mtag_NI_SoftwareDeviceSettings] are probably affected by this.

Ah that explains it, I believe these values were missing from the source inf i used for the later packs. eariler packs used 15.11.1 as a source inf

This driver is great, finally my laptop temperature stopped going high all the time and the fps is as good as very old drivers.

The only problem is that I can't use sony vegas,it keeps crashing!
I tried setting it to high performance and basically tried everything online but it doesn't work, thanks you for this anyway.

Edit: even photoshop says there is something wrong with the driver and it disabled enhancements, although it's set to high performance!

I tried all packs and all have the same error in both photoshop and sony vegas
    I have hd 6630m

Tried latest 17.1. Only thing to report: I can't change language in Radeon Settings. You can set the language and restart the app but language cannot be changed. Anyway thanks for this awesome work!

Have you disabled the driver signature enforcement?

As reported many times, people with switchable graphics should go to leshcat

I do use leshcat but want to try new things

    Anyway

I tried both of recommended and update 5

Both works on amd 7400m HD

    Smooth play and no stutter
    Great job in doing it

But as for laptops who have bsod need to disable ulps using redonmod
To stop the bsod and the long time of first load also the hanging every 5 sec

Would also like to report tested on Windows 10 fresh copy of creators update

    Working fine

But if you had a driver error during installation make sure to disable driver signature from Windows startup settings advanced

Sorry for my bad English good luck and thank you

    Hey,doing well! thank you.
After using the driver provided by user1 and having problems with photoshop and sony vegas and even fps drops with csgo
I went back to 14.4 driver by leekm,it is somewhere in this forum, I had better fps with it in csgo with windows 10 creators update and no problems in photshop and sony vegas!

Now I went back to windows 7 because I am able to use fixed switching on it and I get around 100-250 fps in dust in most places without drops.Although I really liked windows 10 but csgo matters more to me.

This was a nice read :D It looks like that was the only thread in leshcatlabs that I haven't read!

But I kind of tried everything there, including the dx9 fixes, radeon mod! modded intel softwares that are after 2016! I would say I loved windows 10 way more than 7 and the fps difference is around like 30 in csgo with the leekm driver with everything I did, but I will just stick to 7 for these extra sweet 30 fps.
