I was searching around for afordable 15K drives and stumbled on this... http://www.compuvest.com/Search.jsp?Search=MAU3147NP&advsite=grabber That's the world's fastest hard drive, mysteriously at $800 less than it's MSRP. That thing will completely blow away the 10K Raptor X if writethrough and TCQ are disabled, which most reviewer's don't bother to do. They also tend to use pci adapter cards, crippling the bandwidth. I'm wondering if that's a typo. It's really hard to imagine such a fast drive 74% off. *edit- A new version has been released with NCQ support, that may explain the discount.
