I've downgraded from 7700k (windows 10 x64 installed) to 4790k Specs: asus z87 pro corsair vengeance 8GB 1866mhz Seagate 3x 3tb 7200rpm Cryorig H5 ultimate cooler Corsair VS550 new gpu Zotac 1050ti OC. I'm having stuttering issues in almost every game. I've check through msi afterburner. No cpu overclock and Gpu coreclock is between 1734 to 1780 out of the box i haven't overclock it. Is this ok ? About stuttering Like in cs:go when I am firing fps drop from 254 to 120. In Gta V while driving fast it was stuttering mostly after 10mints fps drops from 60-70 to 30-35. Temps were fine cpu temps don't go above 61c and gpu 59c. I've already run ddu and did clean install nvidia graphic drivers. No apps running in background. Do I need to clean install windows 10 also as I have change my whole pc setup ? What could be done to overcome this stuttering issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.
yes. After my new pc build with 4790k I just insert the old installed windows hdd in it and run it. But I've downloaded all the necessary drivers for z87 pro motherboard.
I actually upgraded a customers computer from 775 to 1151 and windows 10 loaded some drivers/ restarted and all was good...even the aftermarket Lan and wifi cards worked!.... Clean install is always best I think/ but I'm not sure it will help in this case?
Do stuttering caused by faulty Gpu ? or it could be ram fault ? While playing gta v if I minimize game and open chrome browser it opens very slowly and other apps also works slow
No it don't. I will do fresh install today. And can you clear my conception about stuttering ? What is it ? and why it occurs? Is my gpu faulty ? I've done stress test by unigine heaven fine results.
With any major hardware changes, especially a mainboard and cpu a clean install of windows is always a good idea.
It could be a hundred different issues, most likely some kind of software error. Just save any important files to a thumb drive and do a complete reformat.
So I did clean windows Installation but still facing stuttering issues.. However i've gain 5fps more after reinstalling windows.
What in game settings/resolution are you running things at? Could be that you’re expecting more than the card can deliver.
Hmm. Well the 1050 is a low range card that can deliver some really good gameplay. As the guy above me said, What games and graphic settings are you using?
