Yip, you hit the nail on the head "To Me", Its just like 3D, not everybody is a fan just because some people orgasm at the thought of watching films in it. Like i said i decided to get a 32" 4k screen instead. It all depends on what games you play and how serious about gaming you are. A decent 1440p 144 VA panel is nearly £600 upwards, my AOC 4k VA panel was just over £400.

    It's nothing like 3D.

Since you haven't seen it you can't form a educated opinion on it.
    My 2c.

Many people who try it say they can never go back to 60hz

When did I say I haven't used it ha ha, many people do and I for one don't. Just like many people like 3D, many don't.

+1, I have an ASUS PB287Q 4k 28" 1ms 60hz monitor, cost me just over £400 and I wouldn't have it any other way, played plenty of games on it, Battlefield 1, COD, Sniper Elite 4, etc, and I wouldn't play them any other way, love it too death.

Not exactly, the tax is used to fund hospitals that suffer an increased burdon due to smoking related illness, same with taxing high sugar items. If people want to voluntarily make themselves unhealthy, they can indirectly help pay for their treatment, rather than me paying for it through my taxes.

FWIW I started using CRU some time ago to "overclock" my display to 75 Hz (from 60 Hz).
Being now accustomed to 75 Hz going back to 60 Hz feels really unsmooth. So even that 15 Hz makes a notable difference.

As long as I ran @ 60 Hz only I was quite skeptical about higher refresh rates too. Once you try a higher refresh rate though, you most likely don't want to lower it again.

I understand that completely but also cost comes into the equation as does how people use their PC and monitor. Higher refresh rates for me didnt justify running a smaller screen/lower resolution. I can game at 60Hz on a quality 4k 32" screen OR for the same money use a 1080p 144Hz TN screen, simple choice for me but like i said try before you buy.

Yes of course, each to their own and if I had to buy a monitor, would I pay a premium for 75 Hz over 60 Hz? Probably not.

Yep, too many people will say that 60hz is fine even though they have never seen anything above.

Odd considering back in the day when we used CRT when they were prevalent, they were commonly 85-100hz.
Going to the 'new' LCD screens, 60hz was noticeably less smooth.

60 > 75 is a 25% improvement so it should be quite an improvement.

    Yeh it's considerably better.

    Plus less vsync input lag.
