The way to solve this is to go to the settings.ini file and change it to run the game on DX9.
Perosmct said another thing to change in regedit.... but he edited is answer...
yes...but if anything goes wrong...what's next...??? i had this advice from an amd expert...to have all new packages improvements with 10.5 speed and cfx stability...i tried it and i had destroyed my youtube flash video player...
you can try it out...but then...if it fails...you should clean up the drivers...and install them from the beginning...you could even need to unistall them through safe mode...or else you could have nice bsod's with windows login...
go registry find " ProxyLDA_Support " and where it is "2" only turn it into "0"...change only values which are "2" -->> into "0"...be careful all setting on each page should only be relevant with vga...only this "ProxyLDA_Support" you should touch...
Stop the bull****.
Saying that ATIMan is from ATI is like saying that I am from the NASA.
did you even tested...??? i geuss not...stop spamming and flamming, because you will make me to report you, you are so ****ing annoying and attacking/flaming no reason...go get some sleep...
i know this trick 3 months before i got to know him, now i listened it again from a friend of mine...and i do not have access to his site...you are annoying...get serious...
PS: and how the hell i know if you arent already from nasa
this helped for me after talking to ea.
1. dont overclock you gpu with 3rd party apps just use ati overdrive.
2. you might think your cpu is staple but for some games that use cpu heavily turn it down a notch.
3. run the game with admin and use vista sp2 compatibility.
i never crash any more. i spent alot of time figuring this out. hope this helps any body. try it what do you have to lose.
ps it works with any version of the ati driver.
Who, me? Annoying? Ok.
Also, i don't see spam or flaming on my post.
ALSO, you said you got it from a AMD expert and now is from a friend? OOOOOOOOOK
MerolaC Maybe you know better from him who are he..!
What? Please, learn English.
You don't look like you are from Canada at all.
Also, thanks for deleting my account at your forum.
Find a good doctor please.!!
thread lock go!
SOMEONE please help my friend get ****ing crossfire working with BC2 !!! uke2:
i checked them. Running the game stable now. Get out of here Nvidia! lol
Crossfire is working! FTW!!!!!!!!!!! :biggun:
Har nothing to do with Crossfire. The solution is provided in the below link and has to do with MS distributable...
Turn off Steam in game community and Windows 7 Gadgets if you have any ... it helped me.
Do you have D3DOverrider running in the background? I have it autostarting with windows, I have never had issues with it before, but I trid to shutdown all my apps running in the background. When I shutdown D3Doverrider the game started working fine again, then I deleted the D3DOverrider folder, and installed it again with default settings and voila, my game would not crash anymore. But hey, you are not missing anything, DICE ruined the game with the latest R9 patch. Medic is totally useless now with paddles that work well, in one match today I tried 20 revives, without lying I only managed to revive 1 of those 20. Zap...... zap....... zap..... they dissapear from the ground and spawn somewhere. I get no points, and the ones who are not revived cant help the team, specially when you are defending in Rush. I have totally abandoned BC2 now, playing MOH instead, much better than BC2 and also gone back to Modern Warfare 2 so I have some skills in Black OPs when it comes out in a week or so?
What was the cure ? (Apart from a band in the 70's)
I have the same problem with and without an Oc on the CPU
This thread (OP too) is hilarious.
First he is calling AMD about his problem, blaming everyone , especially AMD then DICE how bad their products are.
Then he discovers that his CPU is overclocked like there's no tomorrow.
It's amazing how people blame AMD and game developers for their poor piss PCs.
If one is experiencing problems with software, should first think about his own machine then blame others.
